"Nows your chance to catch up!" I say, waving my free hand. I get up. "Talk to him tomorrow. Its really late already". I say, and walk towards my house. "See you tomorrow!" I call, and then start to jog home.

I yawn and look outside. Missions have been coming in slowly lately, and ninjas have been getting a lot of free time. I hoped this didnt make them lazy. I get dressed and decide to skip breakfast. Im going to do something important today. |

I wake up and walk out slowly into the fresh open air. My house is in the middle of the forest, outside of town. I walk down the lonely worn path to the village gates, and walk to a small cafe for breakfast, expecting to see something or someone (Hana) :I

I notice Ayame. I smile and wave to her. Odd how even though shes younger than me, she surpassed me, and became one of my best (and possibly only) friend. I keep walking though, I needed to get something done.

I heard Ayame's faint voice. I chuckled to myself. I eyed the uchiha town but shook off the memories and kept walking. Today, I was going to see Kankuro. Hopefully things would turn out nicely with him and Ayame.

I sigh, and sit back down at my lonesome table. I start singing silently, to take my mind off of urgent jounin matters than I'm never going to attend to. Soon enough, I'm asleep.

I frown when I can't find Kankuro. Had he gone back to the Sand Village? No. The Chunin exams werent done yet. I sighed and went to find Ayame. I saw her at the cafe asleep. I rolled my eyes before going inside and requesting water. Ice cold water in fact. I thanked them and went back to Ayame. I threw the water on her then quickly jumped back into the shrubs, hiding myself.

"AUUGGHHH. WHAT THE HELL." I stand up, and realized that I'm soaked. I yell at the cashier "DO YOU KNOW WHO DID THIS?!" He shook his head. I stare at my soaking clothes and start to walk out.

I couldnt help it. I snickered, then laughed, then pretty soon I was rolling on the ground laughing my head off. She should know me well enough to know I did it, and I was surprised she was this Naive.

I kicked Ayame off of me. "Indeed". I grinned, standing up. "But you shouldnt have been asleep out in the open like that". I threw the remaining amount of water on her again, and ran away. Sakura found me later, telling me the Hokage wanted me. I nodded solemnly and went to see the Hokage.

"Ok~" I said with a smile. I start walking around town, not expecting to see or do really anything or anyone. I silently hoped that I wouldn't run into Kankuro.

"HANA". The Hokage screamed at me. I kept my face blank, although I was startled. The Hokage's serious face turned into a smile. "You've been a chunin for a while, havent you?" She asked me. I nodded. "Well," she said, sitting back in her chair, "Congratulations you are now a Jonin!". I was shocked, but I nodded numbly. "Now. Im assigning you a mission. Gather a group, and come back to me. Ill tell you what it is later". I nodded once and left.

Walking through town was pure bliss. No one bothered me, and I could whistle and sing endlessly. So far, no sign of Kankuro either.

I ran screaming at Naruto. "NARUTOOOOOO". He turned around and looked at me. "Hello, Hana". Naruto said, smiling. I waved my hand impatiently at him. "Look. So theres this mission. I need to gather some people. I was thinking.. maybe you and 3 others. So, will you come?" I asked. "Well, you dont really have a choice, either way" I added. He shrugged and said "Lets go find Ayame, Hinata, and Kakuro". I nodded.
(now, for Kankuro):
I was walking down Konoha village, compairing it to the Sand. I noticed Ayame walking too. I waved at her and called to her.

"Ayame! Its been a while" I grin. "how is Konoha?" I here faint voices calling my name. I look around before spotting Naruto, Hinata, and a girl I didnt recognize. I point to her. "Who is that?".
