Taelin shrugged,"Dunno, perhaps some where i can't be found by the counsil or Kyla." She imediately went back to the usual emotionless ex
pression she'd given when they'd first met but she couldn't help randomly finding this ex
pression on her face:

"It's just my throat," he said dismissively. "Haven't fed in a while. It's fine," He stiffened as she started to play with her hair, and her scent washed over his face. "Quit moving," he muttered under his breath. 

He backed out the door, glancing around them before he set her on her feet and looked at her. "Alright. I'm gonna run, and you're gonna hold onto me. How do you want to do this? Piggy back style, or the way I carried you down the stairs?" He arched one eyebrow.

Taelin frowned,"Piggy back style is just way too Twilight for me, the way you carried me down the stairs please." She absolutely hated taht vampire series, Bella was reckless and Edward was more fairy than vampire, not amusing at all.

Jason frowned at her. "I don't care if it's too twilight for you." He sighed. "I just don't want to have to put you in extra..." His eyes flickered to an unreadable ex
pression. "Danger. I almost bit you carrying you down the stairs, you do realize that?" He closed his eyes with a sigh.

"But fine. We'll do whatever you want." He opened his arms again, rather reluctantly, and stared at her for a long while. "I'll hunt at our next stop," he said, smirking faintly.

Taelin shurgged,"Sorry, but i could care less right now whether you bit me or not." She stepped back into his arms and waited for them to take off again. She acctually didn't mind this way of travel and replied,"Also, if i decide to stick around you, i swear, you get me a tank proof car and i'll just have to slap you."

Jason didn't find it amusing. "I'm close to doing just that," he said, picking her up gingerly. "If you know why I was here, you'd understand..." He glanced upwards at the sky, frowning to himself. It was going to rain later on, but they were good for now.

He hugged her close to his body, despite the flames growing in his throat, and sighed. Jason ignored the pleasant fuzzy feeling spreading through his arms, and wherever else he touched her, and frowned again. "Right. Hold on tightly." He smirked down at her for a moment.

"And, for the record, you would care if I did bite you. Being turned..." He looked away from her, eyes distant. "Well, it hurts like you'd never believe. Trust me." And with that, he dug his heel into the ground and took off at top speed, heading in a random direction. He wondered faintly if she'd want to go to Madagascar, or Australia.

Taelin decided better of wrapping her arms around his neck an instead put her arms around his chest. She sighed and waited until they reached teh destination.[EDIT]

And with that, he dug his heel into the ground and took off at top speed, heading in a random direction. He wondered faintly if she'd want to go to Madagascar, or Australia.   }

As Jason ran, he tried his very best not to breath, and made sure he didn't listen too closely. He also made sure he didn't focus on her in his arms too hard, so he wouldn't notice her pulse against his cool skin. He only stopped when the burning in his throat was too much. 

He set her down hastily, taking a few steps away from her. They were just outside a small town, somewhere in Canada. But he didn't know for certain; he hadn't been paying much attention to signs and such. He was too busy trying not to eat Taelin.

"You," he said through gritted teeth. His eyes were a dark, almost black color. "Go find somewhere to eat or something. I'll be back in half an hour." He tossed her his wallet, "Then find us a place to stay at a hotel or something. Two different rooms if you don't want to share with me."

His eyes flickered to her, and then the city as he rubbed at his neck. Jason smiled faintly. "Hurry up, then." 

Jason pulled open the window to the room, and poked his head in with a smile. "Taelin?" he said, pulling his shoulders through the window. Seeing her, he wriggled his way in and stood up, fixing his ruffled hair. It had a little bit of blood in it, but he didn't seem to notice.

"If you ever get asked," he said, looking the room over carefully. "I was with you, watching a movie, m'kay?" He smirked, picking up the remote for the smallish TV in the room and started to flick through channels. "Apparently people don't like it much when you burn three bodies in a dumpster."

He looked over at her, saying nothing, and only smirked.

Taelin shrugged,"Fine by me."

She turned her attention to looking like she was staring at the wall, though really, she was thinking.

Taelin sensed his sudden change of mood and asked,"What's wrong?" She didn't want to make him sad or hurt his feelings. Taelin sighed and waited for his response...
