Sara couldn't sleep, so she ran around her territory. She created a swirl of leaves behind her. The smell of the night air filled her nose. The feel of the wind coursing through her fur made her shiver.

*NEXT MORNING* Jotto woke up then smelt the air it was spring how come he didnt realize it. It was mating season. He was so nervous "ah its mating season why?!" Jotto asked himself.

Sara got up and yawned. She stretched her sore muscles. She entered the pack grounds and got a lot of stares. Then she realized that it was mating season. She shot all the guys looks that would kill. Her green eyes contrasted greatly with all of the yellow eyes around her. Her fur shined beautifully in the cool morning sun.

Sara smelled a familiar scent, the wolf from the night before. She followed the scent and found him. All of the male wolves that didn't already have mates were staring at her and flirting with her. Sometimes, she just wished that they would go away and let her choose.

Sara was surrounded by male wolves and they were starting to bug her. They were saying completely pointless things about howling at the moon and hunting together. She lost it. "Go! Now!" Her eyes were red with anger. "Wow, fiesty. I like fiesty she-wolves." One winked at her. She pinned the one that spoke to the ground. "Go, NOW," she growled.

Sara looked at Jotto. "Mate," she mumbled so only she could hear. "Let me handle this," she said trying to be independant. She didn't want to show that she needed help. The guys stepped back a little and showed a little fear. They weren't going to give up a chance with Sara that easily though.

The male wolves scattered and gave up. Jotto was too protective for them to take a chance. "I could've handled that," she growled. She hated being helped. The sun reflected off of her fur, intensifying the moment.
