Er. Over...? At the beginning where Hatter pretty much despises Cheshire until he sees just how vulnerable Chesh really is? Like when he starts panicking when it gets dark, or the way he spazzes when in a crowd. >w>

"Damit, Cheshire!  What the hell is wrogn with you?!"  He demanded, upon picking up a clip-board with the list of cases they needed to solve, but it had glitter, star sticker's and other things on it, that pissed Hatter off, mor-so than usual.

Cheshire looked up from his idle doodling of striped cats on a piece of paper to bl
ink at Hatter, quickly following with a wide grin. "I was bored out of my mind, that's what's wrong~" he answered, oh-so-cheery as usual. He adjusted his fake violet and pink striped ears, which were obviously fake, within his dyed hair, which was striped horizontally instead of vertically. He stretched out before crossing his legs and placing his hands on his lap. "I can't help it if I have a short attention span~"

And then I also had MArch HAre, who was with Ace...but that's later on. That happened after Chesh and HAtter got it on in a hotel room, where Crispin walked in on them like....right in the middle. :D

And Chesh has sensitive hearing~ -found the previously revived forum WAAAAY back in the pages- c: But he's gotten used to Hatter's yelling.

And now I 'member that Chesh affectionately calls Mad Hatter, Hatta.))

He groaned, annoyed, slamming the clipboard down on the table.

"I swear, I'm gonna' request a partner transfer.  And why did you coem up empty-handed?  I specifically requested you tyo get blood-samples from the suspects, god, can you do anything right?"  He growled, pacing again in the office they had to work-together in.

Cheshire jumped when the clipboard was slammed down, the loud noise both startling him and hurting his ears. He pouted at the obviously annoyed male, rubbing his ears. "Now, there's no need to go damaging my hearing," he murmured, crestfallen. "Hatta, you just need to calm down for a second. I didn't get the samples because...uh..." he paused a moment, trying to think of a good way to word it without revealing exactly why. "Because some...things came up..." he finished after a couple moments.

He moved to curl up on the couch, nuzzling his face against the arm to get comfortable before starting to trace the patterns with his pointer finger, yawning softly and hoping it wasn't noticeable. He hadn't been able to sleep for the past few days, so he was tired and had already run out of steam to be perky and happy.

Cheshire jumped when the door was slammed, ending up tumbling off of the couch with his face getting acquainted with the floor. He sneezed before sitting up, back against the couch. He fidgeted a bit, curling up into a little ball to bury his face between his knees, mumbling under his breath to reas-sure himself that he was perfectly safe, even if he was all alone...and it was dark outside...

Being alone left him to think about everything that could go wrong, that had gone wrong at some point in time for him to leave him with a mental scar that still hadn't gone away. When Hatter was there, at least he had someone there that was always able to keep his mind off of his fears, even though he knew the other basically hated his guts.

With nothing but silence all around him, his mind drifted to places he never wanted to visit again, his thin form shaking lightly as he continued to mutter to himself.

((Ah, poor Chesh. D;)) 

The depressed Mad Hatter entered the room an hour later, *censored*uming Cheshire was sleeping he slammed a sumberine sandwhich in a plastic wrap onm the table next to him and collapsed in the chair next to him, unwrappign hsi own sandwhich.

 "Idiot, I don't knwo what I'm gonig to do with you.  Now I can't get my car back until monday..."  He muttered, takign a bite.

"Am I supposed to care?"  He said not even looekd at him.

"It's done, it's over with."  He said, taking another bite, and picking up the glitter-filled clip-board.

"The chief called today.  He's pissed at me for failing, and relinquished our case to two other people...Olivia, and I think Elliot was the other guy, I don't know.  Anyway, I'm on desk-duty,"  He said pissed.

Cheshire fell silent. He sat there, still in the floor, eating his sandwich. Maybe he should tell Hatter why it is he came back when night fell.... No. Then the other would think even less of him than he already did... 

(Lol, I insist. XD  I don't want anythign in return. XD  That would be mean)

 After his sandwhich was finished Hatter put the feet up to his reclining chair and put his hat on his face, wanting to go to sleep.

He rarely got any sleep these days.

A grey kitten with a red colar and a name-tag reading "Dante" had jumped out from under the recliner. (POOR KITTY XD) and jumped on Cheshire's lap. XD

Cheshire paused in the middle of finishing his sandwich, moving it to look down at the kitty. He wrapped his food back up and set it on the table before lifting the cat into his arms, nuzzling it. "Well, hello there, little kitty~," he purred softly, not wanting be too loud so Hatter could sleep, unlike a certain feline-themed male who hadn't had a bit of sleep in days. He was usually able to catch a nap during the day, but these past few days he hasn't been able to.

(Mah dad called. O_O'  I'm back. :D I think it's p*censored*ed one, as well, seeing as it's 2:39 exactly. XD  Also, interested in a second Kioka?)

The cat mewed, purring loudly, rubbing her face against Cheshire's.

Cheshire giggled softly, moving to curl back up on the couch, gently setting the little fuzzy creature in the center of the space left by his curling up. He scratched her behind one of her ears, smiling. If Hatter didn't hate cats as much as it seemed he did, then why did he hate Cheshire so much...?
