OMG, I'm feeling so stupid. The last post you made, I thought you meant for BS like swearing. I was like 'Uhm, how does that work with a card game Emerald?' haha but I chose not to say anything. HAHA, I understand now...It's an actual game... D:

Nikki and Andrew took their seats next to their two friends after they waved back at Jake. Though, considering Andrew's personality, he had a more lazy wave compared to Jake and Nikki.
"Actually, I never heard of that game. How do you play?" She asked as she picked up her own card deck.
Andrew decided not to pick up his own deck until he learned how to play, since some games, you couldn't look at your cards. As he waited for her explanation, he looked  up at the sky. Drinking in the beautiful-
Actually, as he observed, it wasn't so beautiful. On the horizon, were dark clouds making their way towards the ship. Odd...I didn't hear about a storm passing through soon...He thought to himself.

((Actually, to be honest it sort of does stand for a swear word... :D But it is an actual game that I have played so... Hehehehe))

Jade picked up her own hand, looking at her cards. "Alright. The rules are simple enough to learn as we go. So we will go slow for the first couple of rounds until we finish. I will start and it will go around to Jake next because he already knows how to play and it will give you an example of what to do before you go. We start by putting down a two... Like so, and we want to stack them in order. You may put down as many of that number as you wish, but you may also lie. All the cards go down face down so it will be hard to tell. So say Jake puts down two cards and says 'Two 3's' but in reality its a different number. After the person after him goes he would say 'Peanut butter'. After that occurs, he will be safe but if somebody doesn't believe him, they call out 'BS'. We will then check the cards that were put down. If they were actually the 3's, than the person who said BS has to take the whole pile of cards. If the cards aren't what they were said to be then,in the case of this example, Jake would have to take the pile. First person to run out of cards wins." She looked around the group to be sure everyone understood. "Does everybody get it?" She asked. She noticed Andrew looking out at the horizon at the clouds she too had noticed. She was almost positive that the weather had been clear, completely for the next month. It looked bad, but she hoped that it wouldn't cause them any problems. Beside her, Jake was concentrating hard on his cards and completely unaware of the possible dangers.

Yeeeah, I know what it stood for, but I thought in your post that it was like that...Oh just forget it haha :D 

BIC:

"Oh, I think I get it now!" Nikki said excitedly while staring at her cards. She wasn't the best liar though, so she would probably be horrible at this game. But she was still happily going along. On the other hand, Andrew was amazing at keeping a straight face - since that was how he was -, and she could bet on money that he'd win, if it wasn't for knowing Jade well enough. In Nikki's opinion, Andrew's got some competition. She followed Andrews gaze, and frowned at the clouds. "Awh..." She moaned to herself. "I could have sworn I heard people talking about the good weather for this week..." Then, she went back to her cards. To answer Jade's question, Andrew just did a single nod.

As one of her many bad habits that she never feels she needs to break, Nikki's tip of her tongue was out of her mouth as if in deep thought. "Is this when I say 'Peanut butter'?" She asked Jade with one eyebrow upwards. Without waiting for an answer, she put her own card down and suppressed a giggle as she said, "One 2" Purposely, she said the same thing as Jake because she was still confused about the peanut butter part.

Maybe, it's because they're playing a game. *Is glad she found a good excuse* ;)

Jade sighed, putting her forehead in her palm. "No Nikki. Your number would be Three, because I started with Ace. That starts the game and ends marks the end of a set. He then put two becuase that is the lowest number. It doesn't matter if you have a three or not, put something down and say it is a three. After your brother finishes his turn, if you were lying about your card then you would say 'Peanut Butter'." She smiled weakly but it slightly aggrivated her. She wasn't completely sure why, but it made her mad when people just didn't get what she was talking about. Jake laughed, but not in a mean way.

"Take it easy Jade. She only just started so give her a break." He defended Nikki with a smile, this cruise turning out to be more fun than he was anticipating. It didn't even occur to him how choppy the waves were becoming or how often the ship was rocking back and forth. It would have been hard to notcie since the ship was designed to hide such things but it still caught Jade's attention. She ofcourse looked up to see if Andrew had noticed as well. She was becoming worried of the safety of her brother, weather out in the Bermuda Triangle was not rumored to be pleasant. 

((Lol, I wouldn't have minded in the least if you did. :D Would have forced me to think a little, just what I need right about now. Lol. Umm, maybe. I don't check my email often so...))

Jade couldn't help but to break into a small smile. With another sigh, Jade collected each hand and began shuffling again. Her hands moved quickly and soon she was dealing out the deck again. She noted the dark spots forming on the deck and looked out to the clouds. They were fast moving but they seemed to go on forever. Stretching far and wide. There would probably be an announcement soon about heading indoors for activities or to the rooms instead. As the last card left her hand, a blinding light left spots in the eyes of any watchers followed by a loud crack of thunder. "Lovely." Jade growled, standing to her feet. "Let's consider heading inside." She suggested but her brother didn't enjoy that idea very much.

"I already told you that we are going to make a fort and stay out here. If it gets too bad we can always stay inside. Come on... Please?" Jake pleaded, his fingers already twitching to start building. When Jade sighed with frustration Jake immediately began his building and within moments they had a decent sized cave. He beamed with delight before picking up his hand again. "Come on, let's play!" He smiled, an innocent yet devious child. Too many things flashed through Jade's mind about him that never should be said aloud.

Jade nodded to Nikki's request to start the round off which would place herself at third to go in the circle. With the Ace starting, rather than the two, this meant that her card would have to be a 3. Looking down at her cards, she memorized each one and cursed her bad luck silentlly. Not so much as a hair twitched with annoyance, she was amazing that way when it came to games. The master of the Poker Face. When it finally became her turn, she picked out two cards and placed them face down. "Two 3's." She stated, looking out at the blurring horizon before turning back to her brother. With a smile he put down his 4 with an excited, "ONE 4!!" He was a little to comfortable in the current situation of thunder, lightening and the few raindrops that began to speckle the deck. He growled, however, when he heard Jade beside him mumble 'Peanut Butter.'

I didn't know if Nikki was still supposed to put down a card after saying 'BS' so just ignore that if thats wrong D: hehe

When Nikki was about to put down her card number 'five' down, she risked getting all the cards by saying, "BS." While hoping that she wasn't wrong, she put down her card. "One five."

While it was Nikki's turn, Andrew focused his mind on the intensity of the storm. The boat was swaying from the waves a little more with each minute, and the lightening looked as if it was getting closer, trying to get in the fort and take them all. Andrew smirked at the thought. Nikki and Jake were his friends of course, but he could only take them in small doses. So for a second, he felt as if he wouldn't mind the lightening getting them.
