Riku smiled at the invitation and sat down next to Dakota. He was happy that Dakota would help him be a little more comfortable in this home than anyone actually had in a while. "Umm, i'm not sure what you want me to tell you, so I'll just start from the beginning I guess." Riku laid back and placed his hands behind his head. "Okay, well, I was born half Korean and half... half.... i cna't remember the other half. Well anyways, my mom loved me dearly but my dad despised the fact that I could be his son, dunno why. He was never nice to me and my mom always protected me from him. But she died not too long ago and he abused me more than before. He doesn't like being around me and he doesn't like it when I'm in the same room. he treated me like a slave and had me cooking and cleaning and all that.. and recently.. he gave me a scar." Riku ran his hand absently over the white scar that crossed his neck.

Character: 

Dakota sat there,eyes deep eyes glassy with emotion,thoughts going though his head a mile an hour.Not a muscle moved in his thin body,even with the shiver of cold as the sun now over the horizon,filling the room with cool night air.While a good listener he was shocked by Riku's awful story.It made him sick.Like a punch in the stomach.Even if he had just met the boy
.Normally,a story like this about a person he never knew would bother him for days.Riku's words of heartache playing over and over in his head like a broken record.Looming on the edge of when Riku would stop talking.What would he say?Surely,nothing in his life was even able to hold a candle too. what was to console,or better yet too much.Always awkward about helping people,caring too much and showing it too little.He gulped,opening his mouth yet nothing but a gasp emitted from his mouth.Then out of flooding emotion,exhaughstion and excitment.Dakota leaned forward,only a inch away from Riku's face.Closing his eyes he slowly get closer,only a little more-While this was all happening a series of events was taking place.The knock of a door outside,causing a dog to bark,startling a servant sleeping on a job.Making him flinch,this knocked over a glass of water,dripping onto the floor.Seeping though cracks and hitting the furnace in the basement making a hiss.In turn people in the boiler room added more coal,pumping more heat into the house causing the king to anger,punching on the wall sending vibrations up the stair way through the pipes up Dakota's bedroom vent and *ring* A chirp ran through the lighthouse.Dakota opened his eyes as they shifted to the noise,stopped in dead air.Only a millisecond away from a embrace that would in a way he couldnt figure.Yet still there he hung into time as it had stood still.

Erin this time rings the doorbell with terror that whatever the awful noises that were going on inside weren't caused by her. 

Riku trembled with the whole scenario that had happened in just a matter of seconds. He was blushing fiercely because of Dakota's proximity to his face. He let out a ragged breath and smiled slightly. He could tell his story had put Dakota in a  state of shock or maybe sorrow. But he was feeling bad about it as well. "Master Dakota.. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have shared my story. I guess I should go get the door." Riku looked around and noticed the candle was melting slowly. Maybe slower than any candle he'd ever seen. "Anyways, i'll see if I can get you another candle for this little area." Riku opened the hatch he came from earlier and he sat on the edge, looking down at the hatch.

Erin not sure if anyone is home, but thinks there is, rings the door another time. This time, when she rang it, she said aloud, "Hello? Is anyone home??"

((kind of gotta wait for Rocca. Riku can't do much since he is Dakota's servant..))

Rocca stay motionless for a second more,his eyes reading Riku's ex
pression.Not the best reaction.Dakota pulled away.A tad disappointed but the response.Getting up from the floor he looked out to the sky for a second,trying to regain compose.Letting Riku get to the hatch."No,no im glad you did." Smiling weakly.Then muttered under his breath "it wasnt the story...i wanted to..." Then coughed over it and walked to the hatch."yes ill come with you,we'll see who it is,odd.The castle never has visitors". Getting in the hatch,he sighed.Sliding down it to his room.

Riku sighed and slid down after Dakota, but since that was his first time, he slid down quickly and let out a yelp as he landed on the bottom with a thud. Riku sat there for a moment before he continued his way. He closed the door behind him when he looked at Dakota. "Master Dakota, i didn't mean any harm.. I really am sorry for sharing my story or any other thing I may have done. I'll take punishment if need be. It's not like it would be anything new anyways." He walked out of Dakota's room and down the stairs to the door, gently cracking it open to see a girl standing there. He opened it more so he was standing in the large doorway. He gave a small bow. "Hello, is there something I can help you with?"

Erin looked up at the person standing in front of her. She looked at him for a minute before answering, then said, "Hi sir, umm my name is Erin. I am poor, and have no family. Many years ago, my father was shot to death, and my mother was killed in a horse accident. I have tried to find my cousins, but have had no luck. Please sir, I am a good hard worker, and would do anything to have just a small place to stay, and a tiny amount of food." Erin said this with a hopeful face, but wasn't too sure about what was going to happen.

Riku looked at the girl and looked around. "I'm not in charge of who gets to stay here and who doesn't, so I would have to ask my master or the head of the house. I'm unsure as to whether or not I'll even be allowed to speak with the head of teh House righ tnow anyways. Please stay here." Riku left the door and walked to Dakota. "Sir, a maiden wants to stay here and work. She is poor and is hard working and would work for a tiny amount of food, as she said.."

Erin stood at the door looking into the large house. Then decided it was rude to stare into someone else's home without permission to come in. "Excuse me sir? May I at least come in and sit down? It is a little chilly out here. If thats not to much to ask that is."
