The same question she had heard last night. "No." Aria made that point clear, honestly, why wouldn't anyone believe her? if they had knew Calix than surely people would believe her but, why couldn't they just simply take the fact she was 100% unwilling at that exact moment. It angered her a bit, just a bit.

"Don't get your knickers in a twist," Pansy muttered. "Okay, maybe you weren't willing, but were you attracted to him? Did you think he was cute even a little? Because unless it's a different spell, it wouldn't have worked too well if you weren't. You don't have to lie, I've heard this sob story so many times in my life from so many friends of my mother's that it's not even funny anymore."

'Careful on what you're saying Parkinson..' Aria thought, mentally giving Pansy a warning she couldn't even hear. "I'm being honest with you. But, Yes." she paused for a moment, "When I was younger and didn't know much of him I did think he was cute, but my opinion on him soon changed as from what I've told you so far. Even though I did think he was cute before all this, it has nothing to do or could not be connected to the effectiveness of the curse. Also you don't know what he's capable of Pansy." she finished off.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Pansy said in a clipped tone, standing up. "I do have the Dark Lord currently residing in my house, after all." Her voice was laced with bitterness. "Have a nice day. Don't let the snakes get you."
She turned and walked over to wear Draco and Blaise had been staring at her for the past five minutes, wondering what she was doing talking to Aria. "Morning boys."
"What were you doing over there?" Blaise asked. "You weren't giving her trouble, were you?"
"No, no," Pansy waved her hand dismissively, "I'm helping her. And for once, I'm not actually lying," she added, seeing Blaise's skeptical look.
Blaise scanned her for a few seconds, then turned moodily to his food.
"You were talking about...that thing last night, weren't you?" Draco muttered. Pansy nodded.
"She still thinks she wasn't attracted or willing at all. I think she's in denial."
"It's possible she was telling the truth. We don't know everything about the curse."
"What are the chances of that, though? Every book and account I've ever read or heard about it all says there must be some kind of positive bond between the two, even if it is surface attraction."
"We'll look into it later," Draco promised. "Don't waste a perfectly good morning thinking about it, though. We've got Potions first."
Pansy sighed, sending a look in Aria's direction that didn't shield her feelings about Aria's situation at all. During their conversation, she had been somewhat aloof, but...now, there was real concern and some anger in her gaze. "I don't want another woman's life to be ruined by that...that thing, though." Her voice was so passionate that Draco flinched, memories being brought up involuntarily. Her eyes held a guarded quality, and Draco put an arm around her.
"It's ok. Don't think about it. You'll only get upset."
Feeling her eyes become slightly moist, she nodded. "Want more toast, Draco?"

Aria gave Pansy an equally bittersweet smile and watched as she walked away over to Draco and Blaise. She wondered if Blaise knew about the snake too, or did Draco keep his word and keep it a hush from him. The thought bounced inside her mind for a few minutes until her concentration was interrupted. Aria hadn't noticed the Ravenclaw student sit down across from her as Pansy did.
"Aria is it?" the brown-haired boy asked, raising an eyebrow high over one of his bright blue eyes.
Aria looked up at him, wondering why he was there for a second and what he had just said somewhat made it's way to her brain. She nodded in response. Aria remembered seeing the boy on the Covered Bridge as the sun was setting, while she was deep in thought. He had been kind enough to ask her why she looked so upset and depressed.
"I hope you excuse the fact that I was rude not to introduce myself. I'm Travis Harpe. Ravenclaw, sixth year. I've heard of you-- the beautiful Aria Blest, Slytherin, same year." Travis flashed her a grin.
Aria gave him one of her usual smiles-- small and warm. "It's nice to meet you, Travis." she said in response, her mouth still curved into the shape of a smile.
"What do you have first this fine morning?" He asked her, gazing into her pale green eyes.
"Um.." she started, looking around her pile of books for her schedule. Once she had found it, she ran her eyes over the slightly crumpled parchment and afterwards placed it onto the table. "--Potions, And you?" she finished off.
Travis slightly frowned. "Herbology then Advanced Charms.." he said, his tone sounding a bit gloomy.
"Oh, I have Advanced Charms after Potions," she said, allowing herself to give him a reassuring smile. Aria looked out into the hallway staring after the clock. "I better get going, I'll see you in Charms?"
Travis nodded and with that Aria was off.

Pansy was quiet as the trio of Slytherin friends moved through the dungeons to their Potions classroom. She walked a little ahead of Draco and Blaise, and the dark-haired boy frowned at her back.
"What's wrong with her?" He sounded concerned as he asked Draco, who was also frowning.
"She's thinking about...you know, her cousin."
Blaise's eyes lit with understanding, and a sad look crossed his face. He knew all about it - he had been there, after all, when it had happened. "What brought that up?"
"Blest."
"Oh."
They continued walking, and saw the Gryffindors already lined up at the Potions classroom. Weasley, Potter and Granger looked jumpy about something, but Draco couldn't bring himself to harass them today. Potter looked like his parents had just died, which might be true. His father was one of the biggest Aurors in the business, and it was a dangerous job.

Aria stood in the back of the whole huddle of chattering Gryffindor and Slytherin students. She felt so out-of-place. Before the whole fight that occurred, she would usually be next to Blaise, Draco or Pansy and she'd be talking to them normally as if they were friends but, Aria didn't even know if they were friends with her, before and after. She sighed, holding her books tightly in her hands, trying to listen to Professor Slughorn through the whispers.
"Alas we will be brewing today! You will be brewing a potion that holds no marks, this shall only be a potion as to refresh your memory into potion-making. The preparation, during the actual brewing period and the conclusion. Alright? Page 94 in your textbooks--" there was a shuffled sound of books being opened and flipped, "--Partner up and let the brewing commence!" Slughorn instructed, and he gave them all a tired smile and went off to his desk.
She squeezed through the bunches of students and placed her books on the nearest empty table she could find, later looking over the heads of people, looking for a possible partner.

Pansy immediately attached herself to Draco's side, leaving Blaise to look for a partner. He didn't mind though, he thought, as he saw Aria looking around for a partner. He wanted to talk to her.
"Hey, do you mind if I partner you?" he asked her quietly.

Aria whipped around to find Blaise there and she froze for a minute or two. Finally, having the courage to speak she opened her mouth, "Er-- well.. um-- Sure," she said hesitantly and she sat herself on the stool in front of her. She took her Potions text book from beneath the mass of paper and wood and turned it to the assigned page. She felt pretty nervous at the moment, it was only since before she had spoken to Blaise.

"Cool," Blaise said, relieved. He slid into the seat next to her. "Listen, I wanted to ask you something." He stopped talking for a second, taking out his equipment and flipping to page 94 in his textbook. Amortentia. Great. "I'll start up the cauldron and you get the ingredients?" he asked, changing the topic completely.

Aria nodded and went up to the front of the dimly-lit classroom to collect all of the ingredients, carrying the text book with her. She came back several minutes later with both her arms and hands filled. She carefully laid all the odd-looking objects and differently coloured liquids on the desk before sitting back on her stool and reading over the brewing instructions. They'd be brewing up Amortentia today, a very powerful potion that would cause high infatuation, obsession over the certain person. As she kept reading she absentmindedly asked, "What were you going to ask?".

pression transitioned into a sad-awkward look, "She came up to me earlier in the morning and started asking me questions. I don't know what I said that made her upset, because she didn't look too sad while we were talking.." she chose her words carefully. It looked like Draco had never told Blaise about it, thankfully, though she wasn't so sure.

pression, "he hasn't said anything. It's just, and I could be making a wild guess here, I have my suspicions that you have the...the snake." He lowered his voice at the mention of Aria's 'problem', stealing a glance Slughorn.

The bottom of her stomach dropped and she sat there, rooted to the spot with silence. She felt so odd and once again her headache returned. Why was everything so difficult? why hadn't she just kept her mouth shut and let Draco torture her instead of having to confess the truth to him. At least then she wouldn't have to deal with all these different situations concerning it, all these questions.. Aria gulped and faced Blaise. "Well, it's true.." she whispered back. Might as well.. like she had anything else to lose to.

Blaise closed his eyes, pain coursing through him. "I shouldn't be telling you this - it's Pansy's story - but you need to understand why Pansy is so interested in this. She's going to be around you a lot more than before."
The stirring rod he was holding threatened to snap, he held it so tightly.
"You have to promise not to tell this to anyone. This cannot get out. Understand?"

Aria's head tilted to the side, and she raised an eyebrow in question. Something to her current situation was connected to Pansy in a way and she wondered, how? and as if on cue Blaise spoke at the correct moment. She straightened herself and prepared herself for what Blaise would tell her. She gave a firm nod.

"Muffliato," Blaise muttered, waving his wand slightly from underneath the table. He saw Draco and Pansy watch him curiously, but he avoided their eyes.
"Ok..." He took a deep breath. "Did you know Pansy had a sister?"

Aria shook her head, she only had known Pansy for about a day and never had she suspected that the other Slytherin had a sister. Blaise said 'had' and not 'has', which made Aria feel uncomfortable and worried, she paid attention to small details like that. She awaited anxiously on the rest of the story.
