Markus's eyes grew sad, full of regret that he couldn't bring the cat back. Sighing, he pulled her into him in a bear hug, resting her head against his chest so she could hear the beating heart she found so amusing, stroking her back, trying to comfort her. ''I'll make sure you're ok, then.'' He said softly, trying his best to sound firm.

Kirsty closed her eyes as she listened to his heart. She listened to what he said but didn't know how he was going to make that happen. She didn't know if it was possible for him to make her ok. She would let him try but didn't know if he would succed.

Markus sighed softly. It looked like he wasn't really getting through to her this way. Leaning back a moment, cupping her face in both hands as he looked into her eyes, he kissed her softly before murmuring to her, still nose to nose. ''Kirsty, I promise. No matter what, I'll make sure you're ok.''

Kirsty looked at him shocked for a moment. She couldn't believe he kissed her, she nodded her eyes not leaving his eyes as she believed that he might make her ok. She hoped he was telling the truth and stayed with her for as long as she needed him.

''Come on, now. We better get you upstairs before you freeze.'' He stood up, carrying her in his arms, bridal-style, as he headed for her bedroom. Pushing open the door, he sat down on the bed with her in his lap once more, and smiled softly at her.

Kirsty looked up at him and smiled before leaning her head on his shoulder. She felt at peace and safe but she didn't know why. She was sure it was because of him, she felt an unending love for him but she didn't know if it was too sudden for her to feel that way. she hopped not but right now she didn't care.

Markus glanced out the window. It was still raging outside, the blizzard, if anything, even worse. ''It looks like the storm's not letting up.'' He commented, trying to bring his thoughts away from how at peace he was with her lying there.

Kirsty looked outside and nodded. "Yeah It looks like" she said to him. She kept her eyes on the window but every now and then she looked up at Markus' face, she didn't want him to see her looking at him because she knew she would become embarrassed.

Exactly what do you consider my relationship with you to be?'' He figured this would probably make her embarassed, but right now, that was a good thing. Kirsty looked down and blushed. "I don't know what do you want it to be?" She asked him not knowing what he wanted in case she said something and it was a bit too far and scared him. She liked him a lot but she didn't want him to get in trouble with the higher ups not knowing he was already in trouble.

Kirsty blushed and looked down. "I like it when you do that as well. I would really like us to be more then friends but i don't know if you will get in trouble for it" She said to him being completely truthful with him. She wanted him to know that she didn't want to cause him any trouble because of her but she really really liked him maybe even loved him.

Besides,'' He added, grining devilishly, ''now I know you like it, I don't plan on stopping.'' With that, he leaned down into her and kissed her softly, pressing his lips up against hers.

Kirsty smiled into the kiss and moved her hands so they where around his neck pulling herself closer to him. her thought where going wild thinking about what she was doing how much she liked it what they would do next and mostly how much she loved him and didn't want to let him go.

Eventually pulling away for breath, Markus remained with his face still close to Kirsty's, smiling softly the whole time. He didn't say a word, but upon deciding he'd risked her life enough for today, stopped kissing her and focused on pressing her whole body up against his own and resting his chin on her head.

Kirsty closed her eyes as she moved close and rested her head onto his chest. She thought of how her life has been and it made her more thankful for it all so she could be here with Markus. She was upset that Rosie had died but she knew that Rosie had a good life with her and must of felt it was her time to go.

The angel remained silent, closing his eyes and thinking. Exactly what he should do now, he was unsure, but he got the feeling he should do or say something. Probably both. Even so, he remained motionless, not wanting to disturb her. Besides, he didn't know what he should do.
