Delaney managed a pained smile,

"You want a known murderer in your house?" he almost laughed, "if any of your friends found out, you'd lose your job and more." Delaney flinched as his legs throbbed and added,

"Okay, I suppose I won't be getting far, but Diego."  Delaney stopped himself, he knew his brother could look after himself, he sat back on the couch, he couldn't walk without pain anyway.

Mickey walked into the hospital just as Hunter and Jess where going out, he stopped, not sure what to say, 

"Jess," he began awkwardly, then he took in a deep breath, knowing Hunter would probably be mad at him too, "I am sorry, I want to be there for you."

Jess glared at him as she said "You abandoned me. You walked away when I needed you. Deigo hurt me despite he didn't want me to know but Julian isnt in town so it has to be Deigo. I always been there for you why can't you done the same?" and Hunter punched Mickey.

Deigo growled and swiped at the doctors as they gave him needles and bite one.

Delaney looked at the pain killers, he swallowed then with the water,

"Okay, so long as you know what you're getting into," he releanted, "and I still have Mickey to deal with."  Delaney closed his eyes, "but I'm not going to hurt you pet," he finished, surprised he had managed to find the one girl who did care what he was. Delaney smiled, he was glad he hadn't managed to kill her.

Mickey stumbled backwards as the punch landed on his jaw, he spat blood out, then anger over took his immediate guilt,

"Fine!" he snapped, "I tried and I am sorry, but I am not stading here...." Mickey trailed off, he was aware he was behaving like the others now, he swallowed, "well you seem happier without me Jess, I just bring trouble to you."  Mickey wiped the blood away from his lip and turned his back on Hunter and Jess.

Deigo pointed as he said "It just hursts that's all."

Jess walked out with Hunter and got into his black holden ute and they drove off to the farm which where they found their border collie who was pouncing with excitement to see Jess.

Delaney shrugged slightly,

"It was a long time ago," he said shortly, then he opened his eyes and looked at the red head, he moved himself so he was sitting in a comfier position on the couch, 

"I suppose you should know pet, his father basically orphaned Diego and I, I have been responsible for my brother since we where small when we where put into care.  I promised a long time ago I would get even for everything.  Mickey is extra special, he got me locked up for all those years...."  he stopped and his eyes narrowed,"..., everything could have been so different," he finished slightly drowsily.

Jess was hurt, because Mickey didn't even try to stop her. She looked at Hunter and said "I feel like I got abandoned all over again, just like father abandon me, us." as she held onto the border collie who howled happily wagging her tail as she licked Jess all over.

Deigo pouted as he stabbed some jelly that was sitting there as he said "Jess is probably living at a farm with that stupid brother of her. Hunter is dangerous through, he is a pedobear."

Jenny looked at him. "pedobear?" She said while laughing that was the first time she had heared that and it was funny.

Kirsty looked at him sadly. "Revenge isn't the way. If that was so then i would of killed my parents." She said to him a tear running down her face. As she thought about all the memories she then looked down and stood up. "I'll go get you some blankets and pillows" She said before walking away letting the tears fall down her face.

Delaney watched her go, then he frowned and struggled too his feet, at least the pain killers where beginning to work,  he went after her and turned her to face him,

Jess was sitting on the vendah as she played with the border collie who danced around and she threw his ball and he chased it making her laugh as he rushed into the lake and instead came out with a fish which made her crack up laughing.

"Someone you don't want any kids near. He is dangerous." Deigo said and moved slowly as he was still in pain.

Delaney fell silent, he put his arms around Kirsty quietly for a few seconds thinking, he kissed her forehead and let a soft laugh out,

"I wouldn't say you where weak," he said slightly dryly, "after all you didn't try to run away from me screaming."  Delaney let a low tut escape him, he knew she was right deep down.  Delaney's dark eyes met Kirstys and he asked her quietly and with a hint of sarcasm and without letting her go,

"Why am I worth the bother pet? you could do better than a convict on the run."

Mickey jumped out of his car, he could see Jess on the verandah and no sign of Hunter, he walked towards her,

"Jess," he called quietly, not sure how she would react.
