Delaney's eyes met Kirsty's silently for a few seconds, his whole body tense, "Do you think your Dad would have recognised me?" he asked her as the sirens got louder. Delaney got up and went too the window, he stood in the shadows and watched the road, he could just see blue flashing lights. |

Delaney's eyes flitted to Kirsty and he scowled, "They are coming down here," he pointed out as two patrol cars came down the road. Delaney's scowl deepened, "I don't want to have to run again, sometimes I wish my past wouldn't catch up with me so quickly." |

Delaney faced her with a raised eyebrow as the patrol cars stopped outside the house, "Hopefully they are just making enquiries," he said, trying to sound calm, he scowled again as he saw two officers go around to the back of the house and added, "then again maybe not." Delaney rubbed his face and sighed, he went and sat on the edge of the bed, a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. |

Kirsty looked around before seeing a speacial effect kit she smiled and quickly grabbed it and sat him down. "Here ill change the way you look hopefuly they will think that you look simmaler." She said to him before getting the face putty and molding it making him look different but simmaler for the police to see that he was different but could also see why the person thought he was him. "There done." She said smiling as she started making the skin look normal and not lifeless.

Delaney walked over to the mirror, the putty felt strange, but when he saw himself he managed to laugh, even though he heard hammering on the door, he turned to Kirsty, "You are a clever girl," he muttered, "Let them in before they break your front door, I hope this works." |

Kirsty nodded smiling before walking over to the door with a robe on acting as if they had just desterbed her from some fun. She opened the door and looked at them annoyed as one part of the robe fell off her sholder abit. "Yes? whats wrong?" She asked them. "You better have a good reason for nearly breaking my door." She said to them still annoyed.

Delaney stood in the room just behind Kirsty, he felt a knot of discomfort in his stomach, but knew they wouldn't leave unless they had sight of him. Delaney let a crooked smile cross his face at the officers rather flustered ex
pression. The officer opened and closed his mouth a few times, then cleared his throat and looked as if he was ready to speak, then his eyes went to Delaney.

Kirsty looked at the officer. "Well?" She asked him still annoyed. "Did you have a reason to come here or did you just want to show people your fish impression to people?" She asked then again before sighing and turning to Delaney before winking at him "why dont you wait in the bedroom hunny" she said to him with a giggle hoping to get rid of the police men.

The officer cleared his throat again, his eyes still on Delaney, "Sorry Ma'am," he said, his tone official, "We where given information that a wanted convict was at this address, but I can see that this is not the case." The Officer's eyes went back to Kirsty, wanting to end the embaressing situation, "Thank you for your time ma'am." Delaney's smile turned into a smirk as he saw the younger police officers cheeks turn red, "Don't be long," he responded to Kirsty airily, not quite believeing the trick had actually worked. |

Kirsty looked at him. "I would of known if he was a wanted criminal i am a cop" She said to him as if she was talking to a child. She then stood back abit before tilting her head "well i dont want to keep my boyfriend too long so bye." She said before shutting the door and walking back into the bedroom smiling as she opened the door.

Delaney look across at Kirsty as she walked in through the bedroom door, he was stood by the window again, watching the police cars move away and up the road, he smiled at her, "I'm getting this stuff off my face," he announced, peeling the stuff off his face, his eyes focussed on Kirsty again, the robe was still slipping of one shoulder, he went over too her and kissed her bare neck softly, "Thank you pet," he said softly, "that was one heck of a risk you took for me." |

Delaney kissed her back, "I would do anything to be in your life," he responded, his brow darkened, "but the police will always be looking for me and we will always be looking over our shoulders. I can't even go out of the house right now," he added evenly. Delaney put his arms around Kirsty, his eyes went to one of the old newspaper cuttings, there was a huge front page cover with his photo on it, "it's not the way I was planning to live my life," he added quietly. |

Kirsty smiled before picking up her house phone and dialing her friends number. "Hey philip it's Kirsty. Yeah im fine yeah thats good hey could you do me a favor and make a mask for me since you owe me one?" She said a smirk on her face. "ok thank you just make one that looks simalar to Delaney but not the same....... EW no no philip i'm not like that i have a friend that wants to wear it and get some looks from people. You have a dirty mind my friend you may do that stuff but i don't." She said to the phone before hanging up and blushing madly.
