Talaar had just been about to turn on the heat on the stove when a terrifying scent reached his nostrils. Oh no... He turned to Paradise, eyes wide and... flickering. Yes, they were flickering between blue and gold as Talaar and Wolf fought for control. Struggling, Talaar barely managed to stammer, "R-run."

           Paradise looked back at Talaar, confused for a moment. Sometimes she actually forgot his...Uniqueness. She watched as his eyes changed. From Blue to Gold, again and again. She looked back down at her hand, and understood. Some of it, at least. She put the knife down, and nodded her head at him. "Okay." She said, quietly. Slightly distracted by his eyes.Then walked to the door, and ran out of it. Looking back one more time, when she got to the curb. But didn't wait any longer, to go run again. She was to scared to choose which way to go,so she just went right and after a couple minutes of running, she realized she ran the opposite way from her house. She rolled her eyes at the fate, and kept going.

Finally.

Wolf opened his eyes. They were a shining, molten gold. A wide, canine smile stretched at his lips, teeth sharp. His black wolf ears twitched as they came forward, eager for the hunt. A single sniff allowed Wolf to catch Paradise's scent, still fresh on the air. A chuckle vibrated from his throat, and he gave chase. Supernatural speed sent him flying over the pavement. At this hour of the morning, nobody was on the streets, nobody to see him flash by. He caught sight of her and slowed, allowing himself time before moving in. In a rather sing-song voice, Wolf called out, "Oh Paradiiiise. It's been sooo looong since I last had the pleaaaasure of meeting with you."

Her resolve was shattering. That was good. His movements a blur, Wolf came up to stand directly in front of Paradise, barely inches away from touching her. He breathed deeply, grin somehow spreading even wider as he took in her scent. He then said, his voice a low rumble, "Nice to meet you, Paradise, I'm known as Wolf, but it seems I have to go now. I promise we'll meet again." Without warning, Wolf suddenly leaned forward and lighty brushed his lips over hers. As he pulled back, eyes flickering between gold and blue again, Wolf said, "A parting gift." His eyes then rolled back into his skull and he collapsed.

Paradise closed her eyes for a moment. Did that just happen? Did he just...? Kiss me... She gulped quietly, forcing herself to not even give a hint of a smirk, and watched as he collasped. Yes. This all just happened. After a couple minutes of silence, Paradise still in shock by him, and Paradise staring down at, what she guessed to be now, Talaar, she finally walked over and knelt down beside him. "Talaar?" She asked, softly, while poking his shoulder. She guessed he wasn't going to wake up by a pathetic poke on the shoulder, so she got up, and turned him over. Forcing him to lay on his back. Then pushed his head up, wrapped her arms, under his armpits, and dragged him out of the street. He was heavy. Terribly heavy. So she left him on the sidewalk. Guessing she was going to have to just leave him there for the night. She leaned on a street light pole, beside him, and closed her eyes. Knowing she'd probably fall asleep here too. She couldn't just leave him out here, while he was pas.sed out! After choosing to stay, she sat down, and forced his body to lean against the pole too, then layed on his shoulder and closed her eyes. I was just kissed...

Wolf snickered, replying, To speed things along a little and have some fun.

Speed things along? Have fun? You *&$#*&$*#*$ *$#***$* #*$*#*# $*$##*$$.

Thankfully, this conversation went on only in Talaar's head, so none of the swearing was unleashed into the world to kill anyone. Groaning slightly, Talaar forced his eyes open. The blackout hadn't lasted even half as long as usual, Wolf was being generous.  

He felt a weight on his shoulder and turned his head to see Paradise leaning against him. "Paradise? Hey, you awake?"

Paradise slept not as easy as usual. But she wasn't expecting the most comfortable position, when she was just leaning against the pole/Talaar, so when she heard her name being called, she easily awoke.

She grumbled, and said, "Yeah..." She got off his shoulder, guessing he didn't want her leaning against him like that, and sat up. "Now." She added, while bringing her knees up to her chest, so she could lay her head down.

Paradise sighed with a chuckle.

"I can tell..." She'd say 'It's fine' to his 'Sorry' but it wasn't fine. He scared her. And if it was some joke, it wouldn't be funny. SHe was easily scared. She was about to get up, and ask if he wanted her to go, but then something dawned on her that made her loose track of what she was doing. Usually, after someone like her mom yelled at her, she'd be crying for the rest of the night. But Talaar made all the thoughts of her horrible mother gone. I wonder why... She thought. She also wondered why she felt so safe with Talaar. Secure. It felt wierd. She never felt that way before.
