"Heh..." Sasori let out a sigh of relief. As he took in air from his nose, he scented a distant caribou. It seemed to be injured. He sped off in the direction, his pack members following. They could not smell anything yet, but they could trust their young leader.

Minato looked back at Hana. "Are you sure you want to let him run off like that? If he's working for that one..." Minato trailed off, remembering the dark gray fur and orange eyes of the pack's worst enemy."No, I can tell he's scented something." Hana looked back at him with reas surring* eyes. "He's not the type to try to backstab someone." Sasori ran for about 4 miles until he saw the caribou. It was an injured male, probably lost in the fight over a female. The rest of the pack saw, but Sasori motioned them to stay. He moved swiftly behind the view of the bull and got into range. It still hadn't noticed him or the other wolves.With one leap, Sasori caught hold of its neck and crushed its breathing tube. Anko watched in amazement as he happily dragged the prey over. "Mmf, we should bring this over to that other pack as a gift. I'll find another one for us." he said, his voice muffled by the bull's thick coat. After about 3 and 1/2 miles of running, the other pack scented them and approached. "Here." Sasori said. Take this. I know you still have members that haven't fed." His bright eyes showed that he had no thought of attacking them. Hana walked over to the caribou. Only Sasori's distinct scent lingered on it. "Wait, you took this down by yourself?" Hana was surprised he could do such a thing. "Heh..." Sasori looked at her, his red and white fur smoothened by the wind.

Hana was surprised.She called the pups forwards and smiled,letting them eat with her."Yuki!Minato!Come eat"Hana said,her muzzle was covered with blood.

"Heheh..." Sasori smiled, for the first time in months. He hadn't seen healthy, active pups for a while. Anko and Okami had pups once, but they were sick and died after a couple of days.

"I'm going back to the den to sleep."Sasori yawned. He padded back, and Anko and Okami followed. He suddenly stopped. "Hey, where is your den located?"he asked Hana.

Sasori gasped silently and remembered what had happened to the other pack members, his parents, and his sister... Sasori laid down, crossed his paws, and rested his head on them. His eyes filled with tears, but they refused to drop.
