Golden Horizon Academy. For the cream of society, the future of business. Wealthy families from all over the world sent their little angels to study here. A typical trip for ski club was a little stint to the Swiss Alps. The scuba diving club has been to every exotic coral reef in the world at least twice in the club's history. With a group specializing in just about every activity deemed acceptable for the children of world powers and some that weren't so acceptable, the school screams clas.s.

Each dorm room was the size and appearance of a five-star suite, pretty much a high-riser flat. Only 4 hundred students are accepted yearly, and the genders are always kept even, fifty of each gender to each cl*censored*. That way, parents can begin making good matches while the students are in this setting.

It was to the school's gold, marble, and Brazilian cherrywood exterior that James was approaching, smiling cheerily at every face he p*censored*ed. Girl's swooned left and right, all elbowing for a space in the eyes of the school's Prince Charming. He was surrounded by an aura of light and grace as he moved to the decadent building, as rich and slendid at its students. Sky blue eyes flashed with gentle, self-expressive joy, setting of his pale gold hair and fair skin.

Today his usual white suit was paired with a fresh light blue cravat, gloves to match, white kidskin shoes and a deep, almost black sapphire hold the cravat's center. A very striking image, as was his goal. His vest was a pale, shimmering silver, as was the kerchief in his breast pocket. He wore a white rose in his buttonhole, and to all of this he added his proud bearing, making him a true prince.

Of course, for every ray of light their must be a cloud, and Scott was the cloud to James' sunshine. His deep red eyes flashed, daring any to question him. Though he shared James' regal air air and ability to draw attention to him wherever he went, it was, for the most part, the wrong kind of attention. Although, girls being what they were, a great many swooned for his dark mysteriousness, dreaming after the shadow that followed him and what it hid.

A simple suit of stark black did justice to his ivory skin, matching perfectly his black hair. Sharp, feline features added to the slinky grace with which he moved, blood red cravat and rose a contrast against the rest of him, all black but for his white shirt and gloves. In the middle of his cravat sat an opal, shining with its many colors. And so, the King of Light and King of Shadow entered their domain, though which was which had yet to be decided.

Paradise walked with a hop to each of her steps, smiling. Usually people wouldn't be as happy about going to school, but she just loved it. She loved the socialization, and the people. She walked through the parking lot, and observed who was here already. She shrugged, not really caring, she'd talk to anyone. She opened the doors, and saw a friend of hers. She smiled, and did a slight wave, before walking over.

Addison decided to skip school today. She hated it, and would rather die from being stabbed then ever going there again. She woke up, as usual, at 7:00, to get ready but thats when she made her desicion to not go. She couldn't help but wake up again, about 20 minutes later, from the sun beating on her back through the window. Groaning, she realized her plans were changed once again. She got up, and closed the window curtian .

After she was done getting ready, she quickly got her black jacket on, and walked out of her dorm. She quickly walked through the dorms hallways, knowing she was going to be late. But why did she care? She sighed and kept running down the hallway. 

After she left the dorm building, and got to the schools building, she slowed her pace. Frowning at a guy, that accidently bumped into her, and kept walking. Not waiting to hear a 'sorry'. It seemed like she was the only one, who wanted dressed 'normally'. Jeans, and a black Tee-shirt was the way to go, with Addison. But after the first day of school, the teachers forced her to wear the appropriate attire. She zipped her jacket up, feeling like an idiot for what she was supposed to wear, and wandered around a hallway, trying to find her right locker number. 

At the sight of Paradise's little ray of happy Scott couldn't help but smile, though he did his best not to. It simply wouldn't do for his reputation as the dark, brooding type to be tarnished so early in the year. Being so distracted by her ever-present sinse of joy and ease, it was understandable that Scott should accidentally bump into small, rather angry looking young woman. Fully prepared to stop and give the proper apology, he was fairly stunned when she huffed off as if it had never happened. With a slight look of confusion and disappointment he resumed walking, nodding to the pretty little blonde as he walked past her.

James saw the inccident, jaw dropping. After wrinkling his nose at the fiend's disparaging odor her composed himself, running after Addison. He touched her shoulder lightly, keeping his ex
pression one of soft, tender concern. "Excuse me, Miss Paradise, but are you all right? I noticed that Mr. Hastings, the gentleman who bumped into hadn't bothered to apologize." Meeting her gaze James gave the girl his most dazzling smile, bowing at the waist in greeting.

Addison gave him a frowning look, and said quietly. "I'm fine" Turning a little to get to her locker. Hoping that he'd walk away. She ignored him, and acted like that little conversation never happened as she got her books out of her backpack, and carelessly putting them in her locker. The last thing she pulled out was her drawing book, but she kept that with her, not puting it in her locker.

Paradise didn't notice the nod, but her friend, Lindsey, did. Lindsey tapped her shoulder and warned her. She never liked James. He creeped her out. But Paradise never even noticed him before. She turned and looked at him, while his back towards her. She denied that he ever gave her a glance, and to prove to Lindsey that she was right, she walked over to James. Keeping up with his pace, she smiled at him "Hey. I'm Paradise." Sticking out her hand, for him to shake.

Scott turned down looked down at her in rather pleasant surprise, smiling softly. His eyes, as clear in their color as garnets, shone with a touch of amusement. He took her outstretched hand, bowing as he brought it to his lips. The contact was fleeting and for all purposes meaningless, simply how Scott had been raised to greet a lady of society. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Paradise. I am Scott Hastings. I'm sorry if you went out of your way to greet me, but I couldn't help but appreciate your sunny aura. Our school would be a much darker place without you." He released her hand with a grin, nodded to the friend who stood a little ways off, then stood to his full, towering height of 6'4. Another product of his greatly disliked sire.

At Addison's apparent disinterest James frowned, almost sulking before he immediately turned up the charm, inflecting his voice with the barest hint of his power, only to hold her attention and to woo her a little. "I'm very glad for it. That monstrous young man should have apologized himself, and I was quite afraid that he had done more permanent damage to you." He put on his most sincere face of the worried hero, aquamarine eyes shining from under his flaxen mane.

Addison smirked a little. But immediatly stopped herself. Stopping herself from her heart skipping beats, was impossible though. Then said, "Don't worry, i'm fine..." She mumbled, simply. Distracted by his beautifully colored eyes. Frowning, she stared at him.

Paradise smiled at Scott. She could feel her fingers tingling at the feel of his lips. Lindsey rolled her eyes, and walked away. Knowing she was defeated, and Paradise was right. And this school would be horribly mannered without gentleman like you... "My sunny aura?" She said with a laugh. "Its a pleasure to meet you too, Scott." She bit her lip, as she smiled.

Scott couldn't help himself, really. The whole day so far had made him rather unusually cheerful. The maid had finally given up and let him do his own laundry and ironing, the cook had finally let him have plane store brand cereal for breakfast and his tea had been exceptional, being the only thing he didn't mind spending insane amounts of money on. Then he comes to school without having to face Prince Charming, and now he was talking the girl who seemed to carry the sun with her wherever she went. All of this came together to make Scott smile, the ex
pression astonishingly warm on his face, as rare as it was to be seen there.

"Indeed. I can feel the friendliness and joy that seem to come off of you, and I must say that it's rather wonderful. Would you mind if I escorted you to your homeroom?" With an inquisitive raised brow he offered her his elbow, looking every bit the Victorian gentleman. Of course, looking back, that might have been the school's purpose in picking such a base for their uniforms. Not to mention that its broad spectrum of possibilites urged the students to get competitive and creative.

James' smile grew, and he continued to turn up the effects of his powers, aiming his strange ability at softening her heart, nudging her into opening up to him. Something about her delicate body and those bold amethyst eyes made him want to make her his. It was a terrible urge, of course, but James had never been one to deny himself anything. And this was no different. She was beautiful, and James vowed he would possess her, even if it meant he would leave her torn after.

"Excellent. But I'm afraid that I still worry. See, another such accident might befall you on your way to your homeroom. Perhaps you'd give me the honor of taking you their, if only to put me at ease that you arrive their safely?"

Paradise slightly blushed at his comment about her. Noone's ever said that about her before, and she could admit, it made her smile even more. Even though she knew it was true, that she was very happy with life. Just the way he said it, brought redness to her face. Which was very astonishing, because she never blushed.

She nodded her head, and smiled at him. " I'd love that." She said happily, as she wrapped her arm around his elbow. Smiling at him before walking with him.

Addison couldn't help but smile. She mentally noted to hit herself later, because she had no idea why she was smiling. She hasn't smiled, for what? 4 to 5 weeks now. And all of a sudden this guy makes her smile? Her heart was beating faster, and she could feel nervousness coming up. SHe hated that. SHe hated when people saw her weaknesses. She slightly blushed, and something inside her told her to say 'no' to James. But her lips spoke, with no control. "Sure." SHe said, trying to look away from his eyes.

I have several guy friends who are all like this (one of them is where I got the name for him) and I realized: Girls love them and their mysterious, gentlemanly ways. Hence, Scott was born. James was just a way of balancing things out. By the way, forgive any time gaps between posts. I'm catching up on my favorite anime.

Out of habit Scott put his other hand over hers, keeping his strides the perfect length for her to match. While he was being sweet, he might as well prove that he was capable of being a perfect gentleman on top of everything else. As they p*censored*ed through the hall heads turned, and some of the students began whispering as they pas.sed. For a moment Scott's smile faltered, but he got it back up by striking up conversation. "Pardon me if I pry, but might I ask what groups you're in? I would hope that I'll be seeing you more often after today." He looked down at he, the red of his eyes softening into some unreadable emotion.

Pursing his lips James added a touch, trying to soothe her unease and nerves. As he held out his arm to her he leaned down, whispering inches from her ear. "You know, you have the must stunning eyes that I have had the joy of seeing." He held the position for a second before straightening up, taking the young lady through the halls of the school. Girls swooned from jealousy, sighing after their source of delight.

WELL I hope to meet someone like that someday! Any guy I know, is immature, perverted, and annoying D:!!!! lol And it's fine for the gaps. It wouldn't be as okay, if i didn't have tons of other RP"s as well...LOL JK its fine. GAH! Groups? Like clas.ses? Or clubs? Which one? lol, sorry for my slowness. ^^

Addison smiled, as she felt his breath against her, when he spoke. His comment about her eyes, made her smile even wider. Blushing slightly, she became confused. Usually if guys did something like this too her, she'd probably punch them in the face, and walk away. But she couldn't help but like it, with James. She couldn't stop holding her breath, until after he pulled away. She bit her lip, as she saw girls watch. Usually, Addison hated the attention, but knowing why they were jealous made her not feel as disgusted about the attention.

Paradise felt his hand, and smirked. She tried to hide it, the best she could when he said he'd like to see her again. She thought for a moment, then said, "I think just writing club today..." She let go of his arm, slowly when they got the homeroom.

Scott smiled, brushing the top of her hand lightly, almost enough so for one to think it was accidental, before she pulled it away from his arm. Stopping in front of her door Scott bowed again, looking up into her eyes before dropping his gaze. "Then I shall have to hope to see you in the hall. Woe that I'm not a writer. If I were, I should be able to see you more often. But alas, I have no talent in the written word. Please excuse me, as I must get to my own cl*censored* before the teacher marks me late." He smiled at her over his shoulder as he turned, walking to his homeroom on strangely light feet. He got looks from all who saw him, wondering what could make the boy smile so.

Noting her blush with a little relish James widened his smile, still taking the time to nod to everyone who greeted him. He hardly noticed the looks, however, since he was used to the attention. He let his powers sit as they were, not wanting to over-tweek it and ruin everything. He finally made it to her homeroom, and released her hand from his arm gently. "I shall spend my day in anticipation for when I see you again, Miss Addison."

Paradise watched him walk away, with a bright smile on her face. She smiled so many times in her life, but she never smiled this wide. She blinked a couple times, before realizing she was standing there looking like a freak. She rolled her eyes at herself, and walked into her clas.s. When she sat down at a desk, she realized she had a couple minutes left. So she made up a game for herself. She called it, 'See how long you can go without smiling'. She started, and the second she did, she smiled. She bit her lip, not knowing how to let out this feeling bundled up in her heart right now.

Addison smiled at him. Usually, things would never go this far with a guy. Why she was letting it go further? She had no idea. NOdding her head, but not saying a word. That's all she could do. She did a slight wave, and opened the homeroom door, walking in feeling different.

ooc:// Equestry, derived from the Greek word Equus, the scientific name for members of the horse family. Therefore, horse back riding. And by rotation I mean the group and order in which you circulate from one clas.s to the next.

Sighing heavily Scott suffered through homeroom, fiddling with his silver pocket watch. Nearby a small gaggle of girls cooed over him, only to recieve total annoyance. Both Scott and James, oblivious that they shared next period with each other or the entrancing young women from the morning, were looking forward to their next period: Horse-back riding. As soon as the bell rang they were off, walking as quickly as possible without looking at all rushed, a difficult feat to accomplish.

They made it to the school's stables within moments, though both were too absorbed in their own thoughts to notice one another. Scott's steed was, of course, black. Save it For the Knock-out was purebred friesian, with her thick neck, high crest, long wavy mane and tail and light feathering about the hoof. "Good morning, Swish." His deep voice was filled with adoration as he stroked her outstretched head, earning a choir of sighs from his fanclub.

James, needless to say, rode a princely steed indeed. His white thoroughbred stallion was a born racer, tall and slender with a deep chest and gossamer coat. Prince Charming greeted his mount with a carrot and a brush, rubbing the stallion down until he shone like moonlight. As he wrapped his arms around Dynamo's neck his entourage of adoring fans cooed.
