This time Jake didnt miss the blush and he grinned. "How deep is it?" He said, dipping his finger in the water and smelling it. It didnt smell all that salty but it was present and the shade was too light to be fresh. "No way, is this an estuary?" He thought back to a book he had read once about water types and this being on the list. Odd types of fish were usually found in such places due to breeding between fresh water and salt water fish. "Do you know if this connects to the sea anywhere? Ever even swim in it?" He asked, already itching to jump in. "You know what, I'll go first and if I find anything cool I will drag your butt into here." He said with a smile, ripping of his t-shirt and diving into the water. ((Failure XP))

Bree smiled at Jake and laughed. She had seen some weird fish in there before, but she never swam in it. She sat down on a large rock and watched Jake swim. She liked him, but she would never admit it. She always had a tendency to run from things that she had never experienced before. Like swimming. Just the other day, she had taught herself to swim. The only reason that she even set foot in the ocean that day is because she saw Jake, and she knew he needed help.

Jake took the shadows of the water to create a bubble around his eyes, nose and mouth so he could see and breathe under water. His legs pumped and pushed him into the cool water, a shiver running through his bones from the cold. The blue-green of the water hid the crystals that grew in the lake, each as big an average sized dog. He looked around searching for some sort of life as he propelled himself deeper and deeper into the water, finding a small crack in the side of the lake's bowl. He squinted to see what was inside or on the other side but apparently the only way to do that was to go through the crack. He looked up debating weither he should stay or tell her he was exploring. Exploring, however, would mean skipping out on this time he would be spending with her and she was too nice to skip out on. Besides, she was the cutest girl he had ever met. With his mind set, he kicked off from the bottom and began to float to the top.

Bree pulled out her ipod from her jacket and started blasting songs in her ears. She began singing the one that was playing, "Here we go again, we're just like animals; we play pretend..." She continued singing, creating small sparks when she was snapping her fingers to the beat.

((Splee your back online.)) Jake's head bobbed out of the water, staring at the singing Bree with a large smile. "Are you enjoying yourself?" He called, not quite sure if he was being heard. He decided to get her attention another way. He put a film of shadow over her Ipod then splashed water at her. ((omg that was a fail))

Bree looked at Jake and let out a surprised laugh. "You butt! It's on!" Bree didn't care about the water now. She put her Ipod down on the rock and pulled her jacket off. She jumped into the water, her wavy blonde hair becoming straight. She bobbed back up and started laughing. She looked at Jake and splashed him back. "Now we're even."

"Ya, not quite." Jake grinned, diving under and disapearing in the darkness. He circled around Bree until he came up behind, dumping a bunch of water on her head. He dived down again and poked only his head out of the water just in case.

Bree heated up the water around her, basically creating a barrier. "I have a shield." She got out of the water and shook, cold from the water. ((Uber Fail.))

((Wow.. lols thats okey. Its getting late here so my next few posts will suck... if there are any XD)) "No fair. That's cheating." Jake frowned jokingly pulling himself out of the water, not yet ready to leave. "You missy need to learn that using fire to dry yourself during a water fight is cheating." He grinned, pulling on his tee-shirt. "You look cold, its warmer outside. Do you want to go?" He asked, a chill finally setting in on him.

"Yes." Bree smiled and warmed herself up by heating up her hands and rubbing them against her arms. "But one last thing before we go..." She walked up to Jake and hugged him. "Thanks for coming here with me. Most people don't get close to me. Thanks for being my friend," she said while still hugging him. She finally let go and rubbed her hands off on her jeans.

Jake was surprised by this and hugged her back. "With a personality and looks like yours, I would have bet my life that you had tons of friends and even a boyfriend." He said, a little shocked by her words. "I mean I can understand my lack of friends. I can be mean and scary and your worse nightmare sometimes but you.... your an angel. I know my new nickname for you is Angel." He declared, with a huge goofy grin.

Bree laughed and blushed at the same time. "Angel?! Did you see what I did to that poor paintball gun? Oh, and I tackled one of your friends. I doubt I'm an angel, but you can call me whatever you want as long as it's not insulting." She smiled. "I don't have alot of friends, or a boyfriend. But that's okay, 'cause I met you." She pulled the stone out of her jacket pocket and slipped her jacket back on.

"Lucky me, just made a new friend after what? Two paintball games and a trip to the cave. How romantic is that." Jake joked with a wink. "Come on Angel, I'm starved. Hey dont give me that look, I mean I know we just ate but I'm a guy. I have to eat all the time." He said placing his arm around her shoulders. "Come on, pleeease. I'll pay!" He pleaded, giving the cute little puppy dog eyes with the pouty lip.

"You're like a horse, aren't you?" Bree smiled and blushed. Well, that first blush didn't go away, but him calling her Angel and putting his arm around her made her turn a deeper shade of red. "You graze all day. Fine," she said grabbing his hand, "we'll go get something to eat, but I'm not getting anything." She walked him out of the cave quickly, not wanting to get caught by the tour guides. "Where to?"

"Hm, good question. I want a salad. Hey do you like dancing, cause I know this really cool place by the water that has both and I really want you to see it." Jake said, hope gleaming in his eyes like a kid in a candy store. It was kind of like a club but very tame compared to other places and it was attached to the resturant by a cooly lit up gl*censored* tunnel.

"I like to dance, but I'm not good at it." Bree looked down. "But we can go if you like. You can get whatever you want. And since you payed for me when I ate, this time I'll pay for you." Bree wasn't tight on money. Her family was on the rich side, but not filthy rich. Let's just say they were rich enough to give their daughter, Bree, a fairly large allowance.

"Yes!" Jake said, punching his fist into the air. The place really was quite beautiful and even prettier at sunset. "Then lets go. Its a bit of a walk though, should we catch a cab?" He asked seeing the building as a tiny box on the horizon.
