D: So, back in those days, when you had a slave for just one person like in this Rp, did the slave just have a room next to their master? Or do they stay with the other slaves? I don't expect you to know. I'll probably just have him live in a random crappy room close by so that I don't get writers block, but I just wanted to make sure. ]]

I had been taken to my room soon after my master left. I never saw her the rest of the night.
My room wasn't much. It reminded me very much of a closet, but it was a bit bigger. Just big enough for a cot - sized bed, and a chamber pot.
It was better luxury then my last home. Now, I was awake, and my back ached from the uncomfortable position I was in. I shrugged off the small cloth they gave as a blanket and stood too my feet. I hissed in pain when I realized that my sandals weren't on, and my blistered feet were sensitive to the cold floor. Quickly I slipped the sandals on, and hesitantly opened my 'bedroom' door.
Now to find out where my master was.

[[Lol, sorry 'bout yesterday. x3 Ty got exceptionally distracted with other things. x3]] I had been planning on going back to see how Derek was doing, but my parents had insisted that I go 'catch up on my studies'. I don't see why, though. I was only studying for the sake of studying; as far as they were concerned, a woman's proper place was beside her husband, not in work.
When I did finally go to bed, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of living conditions Derek would be given. Probably not much, I guessed.
I got up the next morning with the sun, slipping into one of my plainer dresses for sake of comfort. It was plain, nothing more than a sky blue gown, but it didn't have the same masses of petticoats as some of my dresses did. I detested those petticoats; they were incredibly difficult to move in.
Once again, I decided to wear my riding boots. It wasn't like anyone would see them, anyway.
After quickly brushing my hair, I decided to leave it down, so it hung like a smooth curtain down to my waist.
That done, I quickly headed out of my bedroom and started wandering around the corridors, wondering if Derek would be up yet. If I didn't find him, I planned to go down to that old shed nd wait there. [[EDIT- ZOMG YER ONLINE. O _ O]]

[[ It's fine. <333333 ]] My hands were itching to hold a paint brush again, but the last thing I wanted to do was be found, painting. I was a slave, and I was supposed to be waiting on my Master.
If only she wasn't so... Low maintenance. As I wandered the hallways, I finally saw my master on the other side. At first I didn't recognize her, her hair down instead of up, but then I smiled and nodded my head politely as a greeting.
" 'Morning, master."
I said quietly.

''Good morning, Derek.'' I said, smiling when I saw him. I didn't like being called 'Master', but supposed it was how he was raised, and that he couldn't really help it.
I walked up to him and tilted my head to the side slightly, trying to read his ex
pression.

She called me... Derek? My eyebrows furrowed once again, in my confusion. I understood that she didn't like the idea of treating me like a slave, but calling me by my name could get her in big trouble if anyone heard.
But, she was my master, and I could not argue with her. "Before I do anything for my own satisfaction, I should make sure everything is to your liking. Are you hungry? Thirsty?"

There won't be many people there yet, just the head cook getting breakfast ready, and she's pretty lenient when it comes to things like that.''
I smiled once more, heading in the direction of both the kitchens and the front door.
