"So what's your brother like?" Claire asked Beth, moving at a speed a little faster than a walk. The grass was still wet from the dew this morning & her black converse were getting wet. Even though she didn't want to be there, it was like no one else knew about this camp, or they just didn't want to come out of their cabins.

"Um, hey." Blake jerked up and looked at the gray headed boy. Cool, wonder if he talks? He thought to himself.

Beth sighed, and said, "Completely the opposite of me, sadly. He's so quiet. ANd too himself. When we have parties, he's either upstiars in his room, or someplace out of the house. He doesn't talk to people. It's sad..." She rolled her eyes and said, "Sometimes I wonder if one of us were adopted since were so different."

Andy looked back at his new roommate and said, "'uhm' hey." Mimicking his 'um'. He wasn't arrogant. He was being more...sarcastic. He looked at him for a moment, then to his luggage to keep unpacking. "I'm Andy." He said, so quietly it was almost a mumble.

Blake pressed his lips together and looked at Andy. "I'm Blake. No need to be shy around me." Looking at the door, he could make out to figures walking and getting closer. "Do you have a sister? If you do, I think she's with mine. THey're about to come visit."

Claire knocked on the door and nodded at Beth. "Blake and I are pretty much the same.. but he's a guy.. boy.. thing." She smirked as she faced the door and knocked again. "He probably won't answer cause he doesn't like being around me," She sighed and let her hand fall from the door. "Can we come in? Or what?" She yelled.

Blake groaned, "Just a minute." He called from the other side. "Are you descent to let them come in for a little?" He asked Andy, not really wanting to see his sister, Claire.

Andy rolled his eyes, when his back was to Blake. He hated when people called him shy. He didn't know why, but he just did. It was one of those odd pet peeves that not anyone can understand. Maybe it was just because he knew he wasn't. When Blake asked if he was 'decent', Andy did a small smirk - which is his smile to everyone, he doesn't go higher then a smirk - and made sure all his clothes were in his drawers before saying, "I'm decent."

Beth laughed at Claire, "Funny...My brother doesn't like being around me either! He says I'm...What did he say....Obnoxious? I dunno how he see's that though.." She shrugged it off and waited for them to open the door.

"Alright." Blake said as he stepped towards the door and opened. "If you must, come in." He groaned, letting Claire and her new buddy slide in.

Claire stepped in and smiled. "Thanks a lot, Blake!" Claire looked at him then the other boy. Wow, wasn't he cute, she thought to herself.

"Hey Andy!" Beth said, like the whole world needed to know what she had to say. She didn't wait for Andy to respond, because she knew he wouldn't so she kept going. "This is my roommate, Claire." Then she looked at Claire, "And Claire, that's my goth of a brother over there." Beth her Andy chuckle and he came over and shook her hand, just to get it over with. When they shook hands, he leaned her in just a little closer. "I'm not goth. Don't listen to the brat." And with that, Andy left the two. Beth rolled her eyes.
"I'm not a brat!" She whined. Then she looked at Claire's brother, and held out her own hand. She never needed a invitation to greet herself. She did that all on her own.
"Hi! I'm Bethany. But...Don't call me that. It's to..eh...Anyways, call me Beth" She smiled, and let her eyes study his own. They had a nice hint of colors. "Wow. Your eyes are nice. Real pretty." She smiled, again as if not realizing she probably made things awkward.

Blake smiled and took her hand firmly. "Why thank you Beth, I'm Blake.. As Claire might've been yelling before." he rolled his eyes as he looked to Claire.

Claire watched Andy leaved and pressed her lips together. She followed almost imediatly, "Where are you going?" She asked.

Andy turned around, slightly surprised that Claire followed.
"Uhm...I'm just walking around. Seeing where everything is, so I don't have to ask where things are later."

Beth didn't give Claire a glance as Blake brought her in the conversation. She simply couldn't draw her eyes away. "Yeah. She's told me about you." Beth said with a laugh, unwillingly letting go of his hand.

"Mind if I come with?" Claire asked, quieting her voice to match the tone of his. She examined his body. Perfect shape, his hair had been the perfect tone of gray, and his eyes. His eyes were just.. amazing. Her eyes glistened as she looked at him waiting for an answer.

Blake smiled at her. He released and fell back to the bed. "So.. Andy? He doesn't talk much, or he doesn't like me?" He asked, feeling kind of unsure of the new boy.

Andy frowned for a moment at Claire, then said, "I don't."
He motioned her to follow, it was just a tiny gesture that probably wasn't seen, but he tried to be nice. TRIED to be. Then he started walking down the path way.

Beth smiled as she sat on her brothers bed. "Actually, he doesn't talk at all." She shrugged, "It's not that he doesn't like you." She smiled, "Who couldn't?" Usually, when she flirted with guys this way, they got surprised at first. Felt awkward. She liked how he reacted. Like she was just being nice.

"Well, some people do like me, some don't." He said with a smile, looking into Beth's eyes. "I just didn't think a GUY could be that quiet. Is he like.. an emo or goth?" He asked, not too sure how to put his words.

Claire caught up to him and smiled. "So.. it's Andy?" She giggled. Being around him had this weird effect on her, she didn't know why but it was making her happy. An odd kind of happy.

Andy did a small smirk at her direction, yet confused why she was giggling. "Yeah... So, It's Claire?" He asked, mimicking her. He could be sarcastic when he wanted to be.

Beth smiled at Blake's response. "You know? I like you already." She then sat on the bed indian style. "Actually, he's not goth or emo. I just say that around him to make him mad. It's fun, because even if he is just quiet, he doesn't like raising his voice at me. So, he can't really show his anger." She shrugged.

"You betcha," Claire said with a smile. Looking at the path, she wasn't too sure where they were going to end up, so she stayed slightly behind him.

"Haha, sisters. What can you do without them?" He questioned, thinking about Claire. When he got mad at her, he would raise his voice. he didn't care if it scared her, if she did something to upset him, then he'd yell.

Andy stayed silent the whole rest of the way down. He wasn't one to keep a conversation going. Then they reached the cafeteria. He did a quick glance to see if she was behind him, and then kept going to the next parts of the camp. The other rooms for activities, bathrooms, and probably his favorite place in this camp. The lake at the far end. He found lakes and oceans peaceful, he'd probably be there the whole summer if he could.

Beth smiled back at Blake, and said, referring to Andy and Blake, "You two would go crazy."

"Wow. The lake is so beautiful." Claire managed to get that out of her throat. Being silent around aboy wasn't working too well for her. She left his side and walked along the dock and got to the end. "I'd like to go swimming right now..." She thought for a moment, thinking about 'what if' she were to jump in with her bra and underwear on. 'What would' Andy think of that? Would he think that she was just some trashy girl? Or a girl that loved to have fun. Or just some crazy girl at that.

"I'd be more relaxed.. wouldn't be on my toes as much," Blake laughed at Beth. His laugh soon turned to a smile then he decided to go sit next to her. "You're hair is pretty," He said, loking into her ruby-ish red eyes with a sweet smile.

Andy smirked and followed her to the dock. "Yeah. I love swimming..." He said, in a low voice, staring out before saying. "Good thing I'm always ready." And with that, he took his shirt off, and pulled his shorts off, having his swim suit underneath. "I figured there would be a place to swim." He said, before diving in without a second glance.

Beth smiled at Blake and said, "Really?" She sighed, as if he just quenched a thirst that she had been having her whole life. "You...think my hair is pretty?" Then, without really thinking, she kept going, "Or is that just a signal to tell me to go away? Like your trying to satisfy me with a little compliment so I'll leave you alone? Or, are you giving me that little compliment as a way of saying you think I'm pretty, but just said my hair instead, so that nothing was awkward? Or, are you just naturally saying something nice? Just for the fun of it? Or, are you being one of those jerks who knows I find you cute so you play along just to hurt me later? Or..." She stopped and stared back at him, not embarressed by anything she said. "Well, there could be another reason. But I can't think of any more." Then she sighed again, with a relief like she had before.

With a shrug, Claire threw her shirt and skinny jeans off.  She kicked her shoes off and dove in after Andy. The cool water pressed agianst her skin and she smiled. Coming up, she inhaled the lake smelling air and looked at Andy. "Wow, this feels so good!" She said with a smile, looking into his amazing blue eyes.

"Beth, I think you're beautiful." Blake said with a smile, running his fingers through her hair. "I mean your hair is pretty, but you altogether is amazing!" She laughed, releasing his hand from her hair.
