Bolt's ears twitched as one was licked. He smiled and looked back at Lightning, turning his head to nuzzle her. "Have to make sure," he told her, licking her muzzle before glancing back at the den, half expecting Shock to pounce out of nowhere.

After thinking for a few moments, Eimi gathered up all of her courage and moved towards the Leafeon and the other Espeon, her ears pricked forward. She walked with the grace that was common to her kind, though she moved in a slightly less endearing way. She was a modest Pokemon, never ready to admit that she was really good at something, or that she was really pretty. She accepted praise, but never praised herself, only others.

Selena sulked. " But what if a monter gets me?" she asked, huddling close to her mother.

Shock rolled his eyes. " yeah, because darkrai and Giratina  are watching you!" he said, teasingly.

Selena let out a scream and clung to Bolt's fur.

Eimi paused for a moment as she was greeted, then smiledand moved closer so she could return tthe greeting. "Hello. I hope I didn't interrupt anything..." she said, her voice oddly soft. Even as an Eevee, her voice had been quieter than the others of her kind, so she usually had to be close in order for another Pokemon to hear her. She had hoped she would grow out of it...

Bolt laughed as he was pounced on. He moved so he could fall to the saide, acting like his son had really knocked him over, before gently pawing at him. "Hah, you're starting to get big, Shock!" he said, grinning at the Shinx. As the little ones were moved, he sat back up and nodded. "She means it, too," he said, ears pricked.

Shock grumbled. " Okaaaaaaaaay' he said, making a tongue at Selena, who was still clinging to her father.

Selena was crying.

Bolt nodded. "Giratina only sends bad dreams to bad Pokemon," he told her, watching her as she fell asleep. He smiled, chuckling softly before looking at Lightning. "They're cuter asleep," he murmured to keep from waking them. "And it's much quieter," he added. He sat down, head tilted slightly. "But I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world."

"My name's Eimi," she said, smiling a little more, violet eyes soft and kind. "It's very nice to meet you, JAy," she told him. He seemed to be very kind, and he was rather handsome to boot. She was glad now to have forced herself to be brave and come over.
