Tino just sat there, blinking as though she didn't know what had happened. She rushed to her window and looked out it, but couldn't see Eddie. She didn't understand why he just left all of a sudden, or why her heart was tightening up. She heard her mother calling from downstairs and went to her.

I honestly didn't want to leave. I was dying to go back to Tino. But, I knew I'd just be bothering her. She didn't want me around. She probably found me annoying. Bothersome.
I sighed as I sat on the highest branch on the highest tree in the woods. I had eaten my fill so now I went back to doing what I did before meeting Tino. Just waiting for entertain to come to me.

Tino looked around. It was hard to see anything after everyone's gone to bed. She had already stubbed her toe on the stairs and probably bruised her hip walking into a desk. It took her a few minutes to find her was to the kitchen door and open it without making a lot of noise. But she managed to do it, and off she was in the night.
She had forgotten to put shoes on, but she didn't care because the grass under her feet was soft. The feeling of the wind whipping her face as she ran made her feel free, almost like a bird would. When she hit the tree-line, though, things changed. She suddenly felt trapped, and her chest hurt. She hoped that Eddie would still be there.

I sat uninterested on the branch, still. Bored. I wanted to go back to Tino. And every couple moments, I'd look longingly in the direction of her house.
It was then that I smelled that familiar magnificent scent and immediately jumped off the branch and started for a run.
Soon, I saw her. With a smile, I hid up high in the tree until she passed by it. I jumped down silently and walked behind her unnoticed. Just to tease her; scare her.
"Hey."
I said calmly; hoping I'd at least make the girl jump.

Tino was so startled, she tripped over a root and fell flat on her face. She made a groaning noise and sat up. "Don't you have anything else to do other than scaring little girls?"

"I can think of some things."
I said with a frown; seeing as I had made her fall. I couldn't believe she was really here. I kneeled down and helped her up, carefully.
"I'm sorry though. Didn't mean to make you fall."
