Omni - Carter, mysterious and smart. Natural. Tan brimmed, hat.
Zenirix - Emmett, hyper and cheerful. Blonde. Wears black scarf.
Kioka - Hannah, quiet. Natural. No accessories.
Tesuri - Tyler, grumpy but helpful. Black. No accessories.
Scene 1:
Setting: Fancy mansion, living room.
Cynthya: HELP! [headshot]
*Carter runs into living room*
Carter: What is it, Miss Cynthya? [full screen]
Cynthya: *fretting anxiously* Detective Carter! My precious diamond has been stolen! It's disappeared!
Carter: *appearing to think hard* Hmm... When was the last time you saw your diamond?
Cynthya: I don't know. I was gone shopping for the day! [headshot]
*suddenly, Tyler appears*
Tyler: I'm Miss Cynthya's butler. And I think I can help you there. [headshot]
Scene 2:
Setting: Fancy mansion, living room.
Carter: You can help? [full screen]
Tyler: *growls grumpily* Duh. What do you think I just said? Anyways, I saw a mysterious figure run out the mansion today. They were carrying a suspiciously, large diamond.
Cynthya: Oh! It must be my diamond!
Carter: What did this figure look like? [headshot]
Tyler: *shrugs* I dunno. Jeesh. [full screen]
*Carter and Cynthya appear annoyed; they sigh. Carter suddenly turns to face Cynthya.*
Carter: Who was in your mansion while you were away?
Cynthya: *glances upward* Um.. the house keeper and the pool boy.
Carter: Show--
*Emmett suddenly appears, and interrupts Carter*
Emmett: *smiling* I'd be glad to help you there, Detective! [headshot]
Carter: *sighs* They just keep coming and coming, don't they?
Scene 3:
Setting: Fancy mansion, living room.
Carter: *facing Emmett* I assume you're the pool boy? [full screen]
*Cynthya and Emmett nod. Emmett is bouncing as if he can't stand still.*
Emmett: Yep! That's me! *turns to face Cynthya* And I think I know what happened to your precious diamond, Miss.
Cynthya: OOH! TELL THE DETECTIVE, POOL BOY! *squealing excitedly* [headshot]
*Carter quietly nods towards Emmett.*
Emmett: Well, I'd been arranging the beach balls in front of the pool, which is in the mansion's front lawn. A strange figure suddenly darted out the mansion, and ran right into me! They were carrying a ridiculously large diamond. [headshot]
*Carter standing thoughtfully while Cynthya is anxious, yet excited at the information. Emmett continues.*
Emmett: It was the housekeeper, Hannah.
Scene 4:
Setting: Mansion, living room.
*Carter and Cynthya gasp*
Emmett: She seemed really nervous. Me and her are really good friends. I think that's why she even talked to me. [headshot]
*Carter, glaring at Emmett with a determined ex
pression on his face*
Carter: Well, go on.*impatient*
Emmett: *nods* Well, she said she'd be back at 3. [full screen]
Cynthya: *gasps* That's... NOW! [headshot]
*mansion doors suddenly slam open, and Hannah is standing in the doorway with the diamond.*
Scene 5:
Carter: You! Hand over the stolen diamond! *advances towards Hannah* [full screen]
Hannah: *looking nervous* It was an accident!
Everybody: Huh?
*Hannah glances around, fretting quietly to herself before continuing.*
Hannah: Well, while I was cleaning the diamond, I accidently dropped it. It was scratched--
*Cynthya interrupts Hannah angrily.*
Cynthya: How dare you?!
*Carter gestures for Cynthya to be quiet. She pouts, but obeys.*
*Hannah gulps and continues.*
Hannah: I took it to be polished, and.. well, it's as good as new. *she suddenly hands Cynthya the sparkling diamond*
*Cynthya quickly grabs the diamond and holds in tightly*
Cynthya: HMPH! I guess your work is done here, detective.
*Emmett laughs and bounces up and down. Carter and Hannah sigh in relief. Carter looks as if he's about to speak, but Emmett happily cuts him off.
Emmett: *enthusiastically* CASE CLOSED!! [headshot]
