I was wondering, if you bought 300 credits and didn't receive one of the retired eggs, can you purchase 200 more credits and get one for sure? Or does it have to be one purchase of 500?

The terms as stated in the update require making the purchase all at once.

300 credits gives a 50% chance of receiving an egg.
500 credits gives a guarantee of receiving one random egg.
1000 credits gives a guarantee of receiving one of each egg.
