How Do Egg Market Prices Vary?

The prices seem to change but the egg rarities do not...

For example : fresh Mirabilis eggs are now about 5,000 TU each.  When a few weeks ago they were going for 50,000 TU fresh.  I have visited Scria and the rarity doesn't seem to have changed, they still seem fairly uncommon.

Can somebody please explain this to me?

Egg Market prices are set by individual users who choose to sell their eggs there, that's why. It's just another type of user-owned shop.
