When I was making a trade offer I saw I had an egg but when I went to the hatchery, the egg was not there!

The hatchery only shows fresh eggs by default. Change the dropdown to show old or spoiled eggs to see others.

sorry worked it out!
(turns out what I thought was a fresh egg was actually a 319 day old spoiled egg)
