Wolf, I understand that, but it would make it way too easy.  And that's not something I want.  I think the system that we have now is perfectly fine.  Though, Makah's suggestion (Also on the suggestion boards) about Name Searches is something that I could totally agree and support.  ^^

Eh. It happens. Maybe you'll eventually get a chance at that pet though; I used to think I would never in nine thousand years be able to get at Legato, yet after a chain of events I never thought could happen, he sits on my profile. So dun' lose hope. c:

And if you get to know the ACS, it really isn't as hard as it seems. If you're not familiar with it, it's all guesswork, but after a little while that grows to being educated guesswork. xD It comes with practice.

Just try starting out big when you search (I usually start on a multiple of five thousand, like thirty or forty-five thousand), then gradually work your way smaller. Jump along by a few thousand 'til you get to the right beginning letter, then go by hundreds, and so on. Doing it this way really doesn't take very long at all, especially when combined with that eventual familiarity.

It is a lot of guess work. xD

But there are more pets than I thought there would be, orz.
