Before anyone jumps on me for being out of topic, I have been active on the official HA thread, This is a site idea, not feedback.

I think it needs to be taken down until it doesn't spontaniously crash everyone's computers. There was (last time I looked) nine pages of feedback on the official thread, with four out of five of every comments being 'it made me close the whole window and froze my computer' complaint.

I am one of those people.

Could it be disabled until it's modearatly more functional? There doesn't seem to be any good coming out of having it operational.

I am not saying get rid of it forever, just wait until it works a little tiny bit better before letting it go.

...Or you can just not click the link and wait until Pat says it's fine now.

its a beta so its not really a part of the full site yet so in a way it doesnt need taking down till its fixed because if it was taken down for every bug thats found and its one after the other it would be more ha.ssle than anything, if you dont like it being there u can ignore that link, when its out of beta it will be working, the beta was only to a chosen few before it came out to everyone so you should be happy its up even with this bug xD

Honestly speaking, I think something that freazes a computer is something more than a bug.

Well I understand where feline and darksoul are coming from, since it's just a link you can ignore and all. But seriously, I think it's a pretty big deal the link is there. With new people signing up, they want to experiment with all the links, and since they're new, they don't know that the human avatar page is messed up right now, and so they'll restart the computer and try it on a different browser, and then a different computer, and so the forums will get spammed with issues of it because they don't know about the HA thread yet and bleh. It's just a mess.

Maybe taking it down is a little much. I say just change the url of the link to an "Under Construction" page or something, so it doesn't make everyone have to keep rebooting their computers if they click on it. Then, once it's all fixed, they can replace the UC page with the newly working HA page.

lol well if it crashes the comp it will be like a lesson they will learn not to click it again till its ready, and if its not a bug what would you say it is? plus there is a few of the people that can do it fine without crashing so the only way to find out if they are one of those few is clicking on it

as i will keep saying its a beta and problems like this was bound to show up, just be happy it isnt the real thing yet
