Staff Username Changes

I looked to see if this has been suggested before and didn't see anything. My apologies if it has been.
I can't speak for others, but I get really confused when staff changes their usernames without any indication. Especially when I leave for a month or two, and come back and it looks like there is an entire new set of staff members.
I think there should be a small note on staff profiles up to a month after a name change to avoid confusion. For example, if I was being assisted by a certain staff member and then they changed, I would have no idea who I was supposed to be dealing with. I had previously suggested this for all users but was told it could be a privacy thing. Staff don't need that as their jobs are to be visible to all users.

Also, in ye days of olde, staff members used to get items such as balloons, squishies, and the like named after them. I imagine with how frequently names get changed, this would be impossible to implement in the future.
