I must say although i like the new ones better, it reminds me a bit more of gold and white gold rather than gold and silver.. XD o_O I think the Liyures the closest..

Eh. I think it's more the fact that the newer ones are cleaner that makes them look so much better. And that's to be expected, especially when you're comparing them with particularly old ones like the Omni and Kioka.
Shininess really doesn't equal greatness. o_o Personally, I can't stand seeing gobs upon gobs of shine slapped onto things. The Cyid and Ezahni do have just the right amount to make it look very nice.. but I find myself thinking the Haberisar's pushing it. |

Yes, the cyid and ezahni are gorgeous ;D Although yes, the Habby has more angles. no wonder it seemed to flash at my eyes when i first saw it XD

I understand that many old users are attached to the old gold CS. :D For me, shiny and sparkly things just get to me the way they are. all the sparkly things and all the wondrous shiny spots and stuff. :D Then when you look the the gold habby the effect is like SHING. -puts on awesome black shades-

I prefer the old ones, but the Cyid and Ezhani looks nice too (especially the Cyid, as fish are shiny from the beginning :P). The Haberisar however is a bit too much for me :/. Especially the background legs, that should be in shade, are too light at the point where they are attached to the body. It makes the picture look flat (for me). On the Ehzani they are shaded just right. Meant no offence to any artists really :P.

I love the new ones, but I would be completely heart broken if they changed the Kioka's GaS color. It is absolutely stunning ♥ But as for Omni and Liyure, the new color would look pretty^^ |

I sorta support I think the old ones should be made a bit shinier, but I think the new ones are too shiny. so I think the old ones should be made just a bit shinier, and the new ones be made less shiny. :D |

The thing is, it isn't just the shinyness that changed. Its the colors. Silver then was a lot darker, and now its lighter, making it look more shiny. I like both, but the old one more, sorry xp

I agree with Yoshi too. My reasoning is that the dye kit is gold and silver I'm holding a silver necklace up to the screen, and while the old CS pets look like they're tarnished or iron, the newer ones look almost like white gold or platinum. Personally, I think the darker gold looks better too. It seems more metallic and gold while the other looks yellow to me. In my opinion, the colors and toning on the liyure look the best, by far. |

Personally I like the old ones better, but the ezahni is gorgous. The haber is a bit to shiny for me, but I truly think they are fine the way they are.

:D I don't like metallic things because they remind me of the stinking blood-like smell of iron. :/ lalalala. I feel the habby just had the photoshoot after they replaced the lighting or something. ;D
