Not everyone knows that everything is going to be revamped eventually, which may atleast one reason why there are so many of these posts.

You can still see the many threads to click on involving the same thing that are all of the forum.  That's the reason we have the topics not up for discussion thread.  There were constantly threads about breeding, etc, over and over again even though staff have already made a certain decision about it.  

It makes more sense to me to tell people beforehand that staff already know which pets need to be revamped rather than posting it on every single thread that pops up requesting revamps.

I see nothing wrong with people discussing which pets they want to see revamped. It actually can help, because it also shows which pets the users do NOT want to be revamped (as there will be many replies protesting the suggestion). And also, those topics are a good place to discuss HOW that pet could be improved in the future revamp, which parts of it do users like and which don't. I am sure it could help the artists while working on the revamp.

And as mentioned above, just do not click on it if you do not want to read it.

Perhaps it should just be requested that revamp threads be more constructive.  The how discussions sound awesome, but I don't recall ever seeing revamp threads actually containing discussions like that.  There could have been some, I just don't remember.  So encouraging people to actually suggest additions, deletions, etc for revamps would be great.

I just don't see the point in people posting thread stating simply, "Drindians need a revamp."  Artists always end up posting that they already know which pets need to be revamped.  And they sometimes happen to be ones that the users are already attached to, such as the iluvu.  But they still needed a revamp, so they got one.  Thus, pets that require revamps will get them and those that do not will not.  Artists decide that because they have the most knowledge of what Res style is supposed to look like.  Threads simply stating which "need a revamp" are pointless.

Unless, of course, more specific suggestions for the revamp are made.  That would be awesome.

I don't have a problem with not clicking on it, but I as.sume that staff members are supposed to comment on things like this.  And there's no real need to repeat themselves.  Which is why all the things on the "Topics not up for discussion" thread are there.

this one thread will be easyer to keep track of and everyone will then notice that all pets will get revamped plus all discussion can be in there

its not limiting users its making this part of the forum tidy, the fact that iv seen over 3 suggestions at the top all about revamp means people clearly dont read or we need a thread at the top for all disscusion of it
