D; Gewd.

I highly highy doubt xee will do the Levy.

I hope Neko doesn't change them much. :/ I really like the adult.

I don't understand how it's not up to standard, except for shading as Tamia said if I read right.

I'm fine with the Leverene being redone if its appearance isn't raped. Frankly I'm really, really nervous about seeing the outcome of this one...it could be a welcome improvement or it could make me want to smash my head against a brick wall.

 That's not to say that you guys aren't doing agreat job with revamps -you are! I've loved all the ones so far. (Albeit I've had a few issues with some of the the artistic components I see as being a bit off on some parts of them. But that's irrelevant. :/)

I'm just particular about my bunnies.

Very. VERY. Particular. T-T Please, please model the body style of the revamped levy off of real bunnies. Please study their anatomy and movement.

I don't know much about this particular revamp (I don't think anything more than a few concept sketches have been thrown around so far), but I can tell you that unless I'm mistaken the Levy won't be changing very much at all.  I doubt anything like markings and anatomy will really be altered (although I'm sure it's possible that they will reference real rabbits to get an improved flow in the design, Tri :3).

Artistically... it's a hard one to pinpoint. xD;  You're right, Nort; there's very little wrong with them.  The shading's a little inconsistent in places, and I think that's the biggest thing.  I suppose the poses could also be seen as a little stiff, but again, it won't require an overhaul of the design or anything like that.  I don't think you'll have to worry too much. =)

I don't believe I saw Iluvu on that list, I feel they should be added. Because to me at least, they don't seem to be consistant with the rest of the site.

Why aren't they on the list?

Hmm.  I don't think it's been brought up.  They look slightly different because they were the sole Creatu project of one of our previous artists, Qesque -- but I don't know, I find the species up to par with the rest of the Creatu on site.  To me, the style isn't inconsistent enough with the Rescreatu norm to warrant a revamp at this time -- but I dunno.  Maybe others disagree with me.  In any case, it's up to an artist to decide to take on a difficult and time-consuming project like this, or for Patrick to request it of them, which probably won't happen for a while now, what with the... erm... interesting variety of to-be-revamped Creatu we have right now. ;)

Not that I'm aware of, Tri. =/  I think Patrick's actually rather excited to have as many active artists as he has right now; at three or four it's practically a circus in there. xD;

Trigun I would still send one in if you want too and if you don't get a response for a while then send it to me or someone active to pass it off. Or if you want I could even give you suggestions or easier ways to make items.The more the better I say since a few artists are in school so sometimes we slow down.

Huh? I'm getting mixed messeges..

Tamia says Art staff is full and doesn't need anyone, but Deed seems to think that it's short since some are in school. ><;

Do you guys need/ want more artists or am I still  beating at a dead horse after a year? :|

Sorry for the mixed messages and countering Tamia but the last time I talked to Pat he basically said res is always looking for good artists. I know he is super busy with v2 and probably with the hacker at this time so it will probably take him a while before looking at appilcations coming in.But I am sure everyone would like more artists to come in just to have more opinons and to add something new.

Well. Over the past year I've sent in about five artist applications. xDD I only received a reply to one of them, which was around this time last year. It was bluntly 'No', but that was when there were like, ten good active artists and I could understand why they rejected me.

 After all those staff members were fired, I sent in new applications which never received a reply. I submitted my latest about two weeks ago and, hark, haven't received a reply yet. :| You're not the first person who's offered to personally pass on an rmailed application to the art staff. I've done that with several other staff members and those applications were never replied to either.

Which is why I ask if I'm beating at a dead horse. Is there some reason my applications keep getting ignored? After a year, seriously, it's beginning to get a little tiring. I mean, I don't mean to sound like an ass, and I certainly appreciate the gesture, but it's just a little nerve-wracking.

Sorry to send the mixed message, but what I meant was that no, Patrick is not ACTIVELY looking for new artists like he announced with the Support and Writing departments, and it is improbable that artist applications will go up on the staff forums for everyone to discuss (as we did with the other two departments).  Deed is right, though, artist applications are technically always open, and we have been known to just pick up a new artist from a promising application -- even when we aren't actually scouting out artists.  It's a department that could always use more help. :3

About your last question, though. I hope you won't think I'm being rude, Tri, because you're a fantastic artist and I like you -- but to put it bluntly, you've stirred up some trouble with staff members in the past, and I think that record might be negatively affecting your chances of becoming an artist here.  It's nothing personal, or even permanent -- maintain friendly relations with the staff and members here and you could definitely still make it -- but I figure I should at least be honest with you.

I have always expected that that was the case. This is even something I have addressed bluntly within past applications, but could never get anything more than the average answer-less formalities out of anyone. "Oh, they'll look at your application and get back to you soon. They're just reeeeally busy.". I'm really thankful to know that that really is the reason why I've been strangely shunned on this site. I am blacklisted.

 Thank you Tamia, for being honest with me. Really. Thank you. Thank you for affording me enough respect to not just spit out some formal nonesense and actually having the sincerity to address me personally. If only someone would have just done that last year, I wouldn't have wasted my energy by focusing it into vacuum.

Unfortunately I wish I could say that I believe you when you say that it's nothing permanent and that I could still make it if I maintain friendly relations with staff members, but I can't agree with that. I have tried to maintain what I thought were friendly relations with staff; in fact, I don't recall there ever being a specific staff that I've ever been on bad terms with. Actually, contrarily I can't name a single staff member whom I have a personal relationship with that I'm not on good terms with. (Unless, again, someone is not being honest with me.) Sure, a bunch of them got fired last summer, so I'm sure anyone who would put in a good word for me against any bad word is long gone. Perhaps we've been in ethical debates before, sure, and I guess those can get heated and taken personally (on both sides) sometimes, but I don't recall having ever bluntly disrespected any staff. On that, I am speaking of course about the 're-colour' issue which arose...way back when. And surely you can agree that while you may not all hold the same belief, I at least had a valid argument and was certainly not engaging you in some petty fight. Even if you can't agree with that, at least you can understand why it was that I got so worked up over it. But I'm not going to stir up that debate again. I dropped it with an embargo a long time ago for a reason.

A long time ago. I've been practically mute on this site for over almost a year now. But I suppose that old grudges die hard and efforts to abate them go unnoticed. I don't know what more there is for me to do to attain friendly relations with staff than what I've already done. Being blacklisted does indeed seem -to me at least- a permanant thing.

If there is some other distant issue with which I've mottled myself, please let me know, because it has escaped me completely.
