And how about the drindian revamp about it being an elemental dragon?

natural-unelemented / sepia-earth / cream-light / black-darkness / ginger-fire / silver-air / blonde-electricity / albino-snow /  indigo- water / lemo-earth and the others I guess unelemented too, unless you got element ideas for them

Otachie: but also, each color of otachie will have the respective markings of the feline and wings. The cheetah will be spotted and the tiger striped.

 Drindian: And how about that azure is the water element, lime the sun element and indigo the moon element.

Otachies : I'm perfectly happy with how the otachie colors are. It'd be too weird if they were different kinds of cats, while the Ebilias weren't, while the Zenirixes weren't different dog species, etc. etc. Too much work on the poor artists.

Drindian : Elements are for roleplay sites. They're cliche and overused, and again, they would stick out among the rest of the pets. In a bad way. Besides, we already have Gondras as dragons, why can't these things be winged seals like Chiznoodle and I have depicted?

s much as i like the "calico" etc ideas... don't do that for only species... if they are invented at all. Only one species like this would be... weird.

I disagree completely with this.

1) As I have mentioned in that thread you mentioned, creatu aren't designed to do this. It'll look stupid.

2) Making cool colours hatchable will make everything boring. Sure you'll get some nice, shiny colours, but there will be less desire to achieve nicer colours, people will have less goals and will leave earlier.

If you want different markings and variants of pet, go play Wajas. Otachies are a single species, not lots of different types stacked together and yet remaining the same race (in exception to the bird wings and cat body). No, this is just a bit too much. And sympathize with the artists.

As for the elemental bit.... No, way too much. I will go with my previous point again  - a single species, not a lot of variant types. The colours are what make them different, not the traits.

 Light and darkness aren't elements, anyway - just attributions. Electricity isn't one of the major elements, either, although I sympathize with your suggestion at this point. 

And besides, the Creatu of Res are already cl*censored*ified into elements - that's why different species belong on different planets. It doesn't take a genius to exactly guess the link between a Creatu and its native planet - e.g, Sirleon - a water-cat, belongs on the Water planet, Atquati. It won't fit at all if a Fire Drindian is on an Air Planet.

Interesting suggestions here, but a little too much.

*cracks knuckles*  I guess it's about time for another one of my explain-everything-involving-revamps-in-twenty-seconds or-less posts. x3

The Drindian, Mirabilis, Murren, Aukira, and Roditore are being worked on even as we speak.  Don't be surprised when you see a revamp released for these guys.  The art needs work to bring it up to par with our other species.

The Paor, Vogar, Intes, and Goiba are also going to receive revamps sooner or later, primarily because the shading style isn't the same as our current cel-shade style.  These changes might be fairly small, depending on the artist's judgment.

The Leverene, Tesuri, and Veram aren't being worked on, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did get a little bit of polishing in the future.  I like them and I personally don't find much wrong with the artwork, but they're hovering on the edge of our current style.

The Berrok, Chimby, Goiba, Jaaku, Malal, Zenirix, Easero, Kayoki, Meragon, Uilus, Valabex, Zaphao, Ahea, Draqua, Sirleon, Skaldyr, Ardur, Ebilia, Iluvu, Meiko, Myotis, Otachie, Kioka, Liyure, and Omni are not going to be revamped in the near future, because the art is beautiful and up-to-date.  Really.  If one of these gets revamped for anything other than a style update in the distant future, I'll be as surprised as you.
