A lot of people on Res get "married" to each other, and I thought it would be cool if there were articles of clothing specifically made for marriages on Rescreatu.
For example, there could be different colors and styles of wedding dresses. I was thinking that the style of dressed could be modeled after Creatu, and the colors could be like Creatu colors, calico, blonde, etc. The same would apply to tuxedos/suits for the men, and maybe handheld items, like flowers or rings. There should also be bridesmaids and best man outfits unique to their roles.

No support, because we have that rule "Res is not a dating site". There's some discussion among staff going on now as to whether or not the play marriages should be allowed to continue or not due to this rule. ;x

I hope you guys allow it to continue. D: It's more or less a form of Roleplaying, and if Staff ban Resmarriages, you also kind of outlaw whole Res Families as well.
It's not legitimate dating. I'm married to Lazz on Res, but I still have a real life boyfriend and I have no real/true romantic feelings for Lazz.
It's more like Roleplaying than anything else, because a lot of people have "Resonas" or a character as how they see themselves on Res. They can either be very similar to that person and just be how they see themselves on Res, or they can be more extensive, fully developed characters.
Not really sure I can explain that very well, but there's my defense.
That being said, I don't really support an extensive line of Human Avatar clothing specifically for Resmarriages. I do think a tuxedo, wedding dress, flower bouquet , a ring, etc. would be cool, however.
After all, some people get married in real life, and a bride might want to actually show herself off as a bride for a little while.

I support Grave's idea, and I think these Res-marrage outfits could be interesting. If nothing else, just some nice dresses. The Retro Buttoned Dresses make women look like waitresses. That is not only, in some ways, degrading, but also doesn't look good.

I'd like to comment on Grave's post. It's really well said, and I can't think of anything else to show my support. Resmarriges are not real, because sexual content or romance is not allowed on the site, because 'Rescreatu is not a dating site."

It's just an outfit. Not really anything I can see wrong. Just so long as it's not called 'resmarriage gear' or something. Just name it 'tux' and 'wedding dress'. Don't need no special names or anything.
Okay... You guys who think that this will encourage 'dating'. Think about it. Look at this scenario:
Person1: OMG LOOK AT THAT DRESS I WANNA GET MARRIED ON THIS SITE JUST BECAUSE ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Person2: ASL?
Omg doesn't that sound unrealistic?
This is a pet site, who on earth goes here to get dating forrealsies? There are TONS of sites for dating out there, why go here? Most of the users here are either too young or not interested. I don't think Res will ever be the next white van and candy combo.
All the prospective users of these outfits are just playing around. Thinking that this will encourage online dating here is like saying giving a child a Barbie doll with a wedding dress on will make her/him want to start dating and getting married.
