Merchants - 0

Ranchers - 1

but the option to buy up to 3 hatches in the CS per month with equal hatching chance on for merchant/rancher. that way merchants can still hatch a few pets, but it will still boost the economy a lot :)

 

edit:  I also agree with the idea that everyone can hatch cs pets and that ranchers could have a little bit more of a chance to hatch colors than they already do

No, merchants having none would never work, they need the one hatch they have.

As a merchant, I would be fine with no hatches, and the ability to buy hatches from an NPC or from the CS.

There aren't even cl*censored*es if you look at it.
 
How many merchants sell creatu using the creatu trade?
 
How many ranchers sell items through regular trade or just direct transfer?
 
There needs to be more distinguishing characteristics.
 
I've made more tu from hatches as a merchant than as a rancher.  Lol.  That should just never happen.
 
A ton of ranchers use showrooms to sell their pets, and guess what merchants have also? o_o  Showrooms.
 
The advantages aren't significant to pull me one way or another, I feel like it's all the same cl*censored*.

I don't think merchants should have 0 hatch limit.  That would ruin my fun on res (I am a merchant, and ran out of changes).  Even though you can buy pets, it's more fun to hatch pets on your own.

yesh. besides, if they want an albino, they can simply buy one, but hatching one is a whole different 'special' feeling.
