Has anyone else ever wanted to just quit an auction? I don't want to win this animal anymore but I can't quit or anything! This is bugging me.

You shouldn't bid if you can't commit to buy it, it's not fair to the person who's selling it.

No I mean I wanted it but then it got to expensive and I could't afford it, but it's still there and I want to quit but other people could still bid.

If you want to quit just don't bid again. If somebody else outbids you you get your tu back.

And sometimes people won't bid anymore.

Why not? It just says you had bid on it before. :U And as for the second thing, you should refer to Maiitsoh's post.

And if someone outbids you and nobody else outbids them then I don't see a problem since people usually want to win an auction, not lose one.

You don't understand anything I am saying and you never have. And it's my suggestion and I can wish what I want. It's not like it's actually going to happen.

If someone doesn't understand, try stating your ideas clearer. It's very rare to encounter someone so dense that they can't understand something if you very clearly state it.

I haven't commented on this yet because I really can't figure out what exactly you mean. At this point I've got it down to two possible things you're suggesting.

One is being able to remove an auction from the "My Bids" page because it can get a little cluttered since they're never deleted. I would support the ability to manually delete the records.

The second is revoking your bid from an auction so that if you were currently the top bidder, your bid would be removed and the person who bid before you would then become the top bidder. To this I say absolutely not. Like maiitsoh said, don't commit to buying if you don't want to pay. Not only that, but there could be massive abuse. Someone could bid 50mil on a pet only valued 20mil while the previous bid was at 9mil. Then moments before the auction ends, they remove the 50mil bid and place a bid of 10mil, getting away with it at that. Not only does this make it a game of "who's got the most money" for "bid holding" but it's also unfair to the sellers as they'd probably be selling pets for much less than they could have if all bids were final.

Also Suggestions are meant to be a place for reasonable ideas that could help or benefit the site. "Wishing" for something is best left to the Blogs or other appropriate areas. Someone could wish that the Retired CSers were back permanently in the CS, but them suggesting that would immediately be shot down.

The first one! Never ever would I mean the second one! That would be totally unfair! And I'm not wishing for it I'm suggesting it because it would be better if you could do that.
