I think one way to boost the pet economy would be to simply make eggs rarer. If the eggs were harder to find then that means that many pets would be worth more due to the decrease in egg availability. I'm not saying that they should be made practically impossible to find, but it would help raise the value of many very common species. Common pets don't often bring in a good price tag unless they're a rare color, so seeing the prices of these creatus go up would be a nice change. I don't think that most of the rarer varieties need any lowering due to the fact that some are already very difficult to find.

This would be good, not just for the economy, but because I simply hate going to Relcore and finding a Berrok egg on EVERY page, EVERY time. It gets quite annoying.

That was pretty much my idea Lolbot. Creatu like virams malals, ardurs, mirables and pets that are already difficult to find are fine where they're at. Creatus like (Otachis. Zenrix, Ahea, Gondras, Dridian, Berrock and similarly common creatus are the ones who need the rarity lowered.

I also just had another idea to increase the egg rarity. Make all eggs have an off season where they can't be found. I'm not saying like seasonals in the way that they're only available for a week but make the eggs have an in and out season where rarity steadily drops until it reaches 0% and then users have to wait until the next in season to get more eggs. I'd say around 2-6 months in and 10-6 months out depending on the breed would defanitly help boost the prices. It would be sorta like a natural nesting season for each different breed when the eggs can only be found, and once all the eggs hatched they'd have to wait for the next nesting season to find that breed's eggs. This would still give seasonals the one week only status but a 2 month window for breeds like otachis and a 10 month off season would give the breed's economic value time to rise from the excess. This is just another idea to try and help out the diving economy.

I personally don't like this idea. Sure, Otachies and such are hard to find, but...the Newbs need pets too, and the impatiant people aswell. Like me. The second Idea would be good except...reiflem is like, never winter, spring, or fall, so...yeah. That'd be odd, imagining it any colder in Reiflem. And therefore, pets would be there year-round.

You can't think just of economy, you have to think of logic, too.

I mean seriously. This would make Otachies and such so much more exciting to find, especially with the second idea. In the off season the eggs and natruals would actually be worth something. Then people who are just starting off a rancher shop willactually be able to make some money, hopefully.And the colored prices would be boosted, which I think is seriously needed, since Sepias and such seem to be worth nothing as well at the moment.

However, I don't know if a 10 month off season would appeal to me. Seems a bit long in my opinion. But it would probabaly be nessesary for this to work.
