I like foxes. And fluffy tails. And creatu.So I made this creatu idea:  It's like, a fox with fin things and little webbed feet :'3 I named it the "Liskelper"If you haven't heard of Cross Foxes, they are the sexiest things to walk on this earth. I based it loosely on one.Please comment, support and shout out your suggestions :) |

Hm, well, I definitely like the fins, but maybe you could add more things to it, other non-meragon-ish things? xD And maybe instead of hooves it could have webbed feet! It could be a water-fox type thing. :3 Meh, me and my suckish ideas. |

For a first draft, your design is very good.<3 There are a few things you might want to think about while working more on your design. We already have several canidae species with the Zenirix, Tesuri, and the bat hybrid Veram. They also have the dog-like Shaefu, so I feel that having a fox with a design so similar to that of an actual fox, without really pushing the boundaries may not be the best of ideas. I'm also not really sure of the aquatic concept. Many artists choose to take a creature from a certain habitat, be it land, earth or air, and cross it into another by giving it attributes that, while aesthetically appeasing, don't make a great deal of sense. Possibly thinking of what part of the habitat it would live in would help with the design. If it was to have the webbed foot of a canidae, you could look at the water dog species. It lives in south america and could give you some ideas for a species of fox-like creature that lives along shorelines. Having such a long tail with so much fur doesn't make a great deal of sense on an aquatic creature since the tail would be of so much use to it swimming. The tail being that fluffy would more then likely weigh it down greatly, as would the rest of its thick coat of fur. The same idea can be seen for the ears. If an aquatic creature had such open ears they would be allowing large amounts of water to seep into the nasal passages of such a creature so it might be an idea to either give them gills or to somehow change the ears so they are more decorative/ like that of a sea lion so they can more easily repel water from entering. I do really like the pattern you've chosen for a potentially aquatic creature. The differences in colour the pattern have would be an asset to it as an aquatic species. You might consider giving it a slight change in colouration however for its natural colouration. Being an aquatic species, unless it was tropical of course, its unlikely it would have such bold orange. If you did decide to keep the fur as it is, then I would very much so suggest that the colouration change to more tones of blue, purple or green since it would more then likely be a non-tropical animal. I told you guys I suggested a fox before? Well, I got a reply from that, turns out they did base the Veram off of a fox. A nice normal fox would be cool too.
So, still support, just wanted to let you know that technically there already is a fox (though verams aren't very fox like)

Verams are very fox-like. O.o I don't know what you guys are thinking of. Tesuri even look fox-like to me, but people debate that. Iluvu are based on Fennec Foxes but have begun to look more cat like.
I don't support. We need to stop saying "we want ordinary animals on a fantasy creature site!". So many releases have just been so ORDINARY. Some of the ordinary designs are cool, and I respect the time the artists put into them, but I'd like to see more Creatu like Paor, Zaphao, Ivik, Aerix, Omni, and Wyrae, where they have animalistic traits and you can kinda say "oh, they sorta look like x", but you can't just call them a spider like the Drachid or a bat like the Myotis.

I'm not saying we need more ordinary creatures, in fact I think we need more unique ones. I just love foxes and think they could create something interesting out of one.
I do quite like the Paor though, I can't even relate it to anything. At all. Same with the Omni.
I appreciate your opinion though, thank-you. Maybe I should just abandon the idea, the art was and design were crap anyway :/
