I do not know if someone already has said this but maybe being able to "Read all books" to a creatu? I mean, it is a pain in the tush to go back and forth to read all your books in the library to all your creatus.

Absolutely no support. What a slap in the face that would be to our talented writers who create the content of the books.

Pretty much what Broken said.

Even if some books don't have writing, the point of accomplishment is effort when it comes to Res. Want a pet with high intelligence? Prepare to read them a lot of book individually. Res doesn't do lazy buttons.

Okay. You did not have to be so harsh about it or sarcastic. And I do read all the writers books...

And I thought it would be an option or someone who already read all the books. Some people do not have a lot of time to do certain things. I thought it would have been a good idea. I was not trying to be offensive.. and I am not lazy. But thanks guys.. you are protecting other people and their creativity or your activism, however, you may hurt the person that gave out the opinion by saying certain things that would make them feel like an idiot. Whatever.

Where was I being sarcastic? I said exactly what I thought - that this would be a slap in the face to the writers. The suggestion was offensive in my opinion. I was blunt, not sarcastic. A person shouldn't be required to candy-coat every opinion they have - there was nothing rude or wrong with what I posted, it was simply to-the-point.

And I said that it was just an opinion and I said I did read the writers books. I did not ask you to sugar-coat everything for me. I believe I am alright without you doing such a thing, I just thought that was a little bit harsh for Graveyardfox and you to come at me for being "lazy" and mean to the writers. I did not intend that at all.

I wasn't being harsh, I was being totally truthful and not sugar-coating what I was saying either.

It takes work - effort - to increase your pet's intelligence. A lot of things about games are tedious, going through book after book to read them to your pets is just one of those aspects. There's no point in accomplishing something - such as having a pet with high intelligence - if you don't put effort into it.

As for my "lazy button" comment. The definition of lazy is being adverse to doing work or exerting effort. As I've already said, it takes effort to give your pets high intelligence, and what your suggesting is to erase that effort with a single click of a button or link of sorts. Hence, a lazy button.

I considered the [now not up for discussion] "Incubate All" suggestion to also be the suggestion of a lazy button, and Res already seems to strongly hint that it doesn't support things being easy or not taking effort.

I never said you were lazy. Just that your suggestion promotes a rather lazy environment (can't think of a more fitting word) and undermines the efforts of others who have spent time tediously reading to their intelligent pets.

I don't believe what I said was anywhere near being out of line, but I apologize that it was taken the wrong way.

Ummm... maybe the read all book button can only be used for the books that don't have writing in them...

But then, the coding would take a long time...

Forget that I said anything!

No support whatsoever for reasons stated above.

This has already been suggested before, and like in this thread it received a lot of criticism. Next time maybe you'd like to read the "Already Suggested Ideas" thread stickied to the top of this board before posting?
