Let Certain Showroom Pets Age

Just a quick idea that's very important to me personally.

Let there be an option to let Show Room pets age.

As an option I mean:

A drop-down menu bar that lets you select 'Yes' or 'No' to letting your pet age in the Show Room.

So let's say you stock a pet into your Show Room.  The drop down box will already be set on 'No', so you'd have to just click 'Yes' on the drop down menu instead.

(These DO NOT have to be color coded. I just decided to have some fun with the highlighting option)

---

My example/reason:

I have a lot of pets.  And I love them all to bits.  Each and everyone of them (that aren't for sale) are my little treasured pixels.  But it gets a little crazy when you have too many pets, and you want each one to have a time of spotlight.

Now you get to learn a pet peeve of mine.

I hate stocking pets (e.i.; my black Omni) that I have had out ever since the day I had hatched them.  It just feels weird to stock an pet for so long and make it stop aging all together.  It feels unnatural to me, and guilt-racking :x But then I feel even worse when I have to keep those guys out, but the pets in my Show Room can't be taken out.  And if I did that, I'd be going over the 15/25 pet limit on my profile page. (I am currently Rancher so it would be 25)

---

Okay, if someone is going to say something like, "This would interfer with the pet aging Award."  I just want to tell you, I don't know how much a big difference that would make.

Butjustsaying~

I hope someone gets what I'm saying...it sounds confusing to me, but maybe that's why I'm trying to make it as least detailed as possible xD

Thank you for reading <3

I disagree with this as if you do this, then there is no point in keeping them on your profile, where you have to feed them and take care of them. In the showroom the creatu's lives are completely paused, not just there aging. If we were to do this, then that means you would have to feed them aswell, which is the same as having them on your profile, which also defeats the purpose of merchants being able to have less creatu on their profile. If you want your creatu to age, I suggest you take turns having them on your profile, or use an RRay if you have one...

I also believe that if this were to happen, it would make the RRay worth less and the older pets themselves worth less...

so im sorry but i disagree with your idea.

No, you can disagree if you want to, and I don't want to use an Rray to make my pets younger.  If you look on my profile, almost all my pets are old.  I'm trying to say that I can't keep them out forever, but I really want to because they're special to me. But that would be hard since I have very many Creatu that I wish I could give deions to, but can't because I have no room to take them out.

Besides, it's just aging.  We may have to feed the Creatu if we choose to age them, we may not have to.

No support here.
If it's that special, keep it on your profile to age, and don't hatch if there are too many.
Or keep less then 15/25 so you can hatch and stuff the rest unaging in your Showroom.
That's what shows what is worth to you more. New pets or your old pets.

Esp now that Age has a toplist and a ranking... just letting Showroompets age without having to feed them. Or even if you had to feed them would be like, to easy to simply ma s s (1)-age. :/
I know you mentioned that award thing... though i keep mine not out for the award! but i DO feel they are special for staying out. Esp. Draichi who never saw my Rancher/Showroom from the inside. XD
I simply don't feel like aging should be "easy", or there would be no point in it in first place (yet again, not talking about any award, more about the feeling of thier... "worth".)

edit: (1) I'm realy going to murder the auto-censoring soon XD

I do understand your point of view, but i still think it wouldn't work out. Instead maybe, we could be allowed to have deions for pets in our showrooms? because i mean, if a showroom is to show off your pet, then what's a link to their history?

Yeah, my ideas have lately been rather weird >w>

But it would be cool if we could write small sections to each of our Catagories in our Show Rooms.

Erm...
If you don't hatch... then what is the Prob with keeping all "special" Creatu on your Profile? XD

Don't get that... *lol* ^^

Really age has a toplist? Where can I see that? *is lame and cannot find*

By the way RRay doesn't really help the aging problem, as this is not about the pet being teen or adult. It is about the pet being 30 days old or 500 days old. I love to see the actual age of my pets too, so all my precious ones I keep on profile. I am also a bit disappointed that I cannot keep all of them out, but still I do not want aging to be available for show room pets. That way someone would just click "age" on a show room pet, then leave for good, and if they decide to come back they would have an aged pet without investing any real effort. It seems unfair to those who age their pets by keeping them out and take care of them every day.

The only way I would consider this is if they age, they also get hungry and can die.

Patrick, that'd be fine by me~ Though not a lot of people wouldn't like this, and it's rather out there, I was considering that only the pets you let age would get hungry.  So say you decide to let about 10 pets age in your Show Room, the you'd have to feed those ten pets~

It's a messy idea that needs fixed up xD I don't even want to get into the whole "If someone goes on vacation and can't feed their pets" thing.
