Basically what the ti
tle says.
I don't mean all posts, but I think it would be really helpful with partners who run an art comission. [eg.]
This is so they can save space by instead of making a post for themselves, they can use one and share it.
Of course, the owner of the thread would have to send a request to do so and the other user would have to accept.
I can see how this would backfire, but you'd think if you requested a user that you trust to co-op a thread with you,
they shouldn't screw everything up.

Again, this is just a suggestion, so feel free to input on it. c:

No support. I can't imagine this ever being a truly well-used feature and saving a post or two of space is not a good enough reason to implement it. If you really wanted to save space, something to replace the need to manually post a bump would be more useful and more used by the forum community.
I don't know how the forum is coded, so the ability to share posts might very well require a whole forum recode. I'd much rather Patrick be spending his time working on something like the battle system or other events that a majority of the site could enjoy as opposed to a feature that maybe only half a dozen of people would take advantage of, maybe not even regularly.

Me and kewlgurl were talking about this for TRWW. She suggested it, but I don't remember what happened to the thread.

People would seriously abuse this. I could see someone saying that they would be good and you trusting them, and then have them post cuss words all over the thread.

As long as you get to choose who can edit your posts on a particular threads... At least have massive selectivity, I don't see why not.
But for the forums, there's not much of a focus on it because it's fine the way it is now.

I agree it would be useful though. but not really a priority.

This might be something to keep in mind for future version updates that are significantly different from V3. =)
