If this has already been suggested I am sorry, but I looked around and didnt see it.

I know this is a user error, and on regular eggs it wouldnt be such a big deal. They can just go find another. However, I purchased Haberisar Eggs this morning. I sent one to someone to hatch for me since I've already used my hatch for today, and in some strike of absolute fail I must have hit delete, because my Haberisar egg went missing, and I got nothing saying that I had deleted, or anything asking me if I was sure that's what I wanted to do. When a user spends real money on an item, they should be able to get it back, in an event it gets accidentally deleted or something. This is just nauseating that I lost my money due to a momentary lapse of judgment.

My suggestion:
Have a pop up asking if the user is sure that they wish to delete the eggs. OR moving the delete eggs button to the top of the egg page, or somewhere NOT next to where you put in a username to send it to someone.

i agree with this 100%. i can't even begin to count how many times i accidently deleted my eggs because of the delete button being right below the Send to User button. i would love to see a change here, even if it is only moving the delete button to another part of the hatchery page.

I too have deleted by accident countless times and can understand how frustrating this can be when it is a CS egg even. I support the suggestion which can make it easier to prevent this mistake. I am aware of it being a user error but if the delete button is moved to a safer place this can be prevented from happening so often

I think this would be very useful to prevent user error when trying to clean out the hatchery.I support this suggestion as it will lead to a more pla[injection]yer friendly interface

Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

I support. Way in the past (when you could still have eggs in storage), I nearly deleted my Kioka egg. @_@ (thankfully I unclicked it when I decided at the last minute that I still wanted it in storage. However, the other items weren't so lucky)

I foresee that I might make this mistake also with eggs. @_@

Support. This hasn't happened to me... yet. I try to be careful, but everyone makes mistakes sometimes.

Support. i'd be mad if I practically threw away real money accidentally and nothing would be done about it.

It should be easy enough to code.

No support. I know everyone makes mistakes and we learn from them. One time, I changed my class, and I forgot to change Rancher to Merchant, because I thought the site had already done that for me. Sadly, it was my fault for doing that and it could never be changed. Yeah, I wasn't very happy. But, I really don't think this needs to be added. I really don't want something coming up saying, "Are you sure?" because then, everything would have, "Are you sure?". I think it's bad enough we have CAPTCHA codes for purchases in NPC shops, so I don't want this to be added.

Edit: Spellcheck yaaay!

Ah, I think confirmations like these are nice to have sometimes. o: They probably do really help cut down on user mistakes that the staff can't fix. Heck, I don't think I've heard about a case of accidentally releasing the wrong pets into the forest in ages. Used to be a big problem, but ever since the confirmation page was added.. no more of that.

Maybe for those who feel like the extra safety isn't really needed and just serves as an annoyance, there could be an option to turn these egg confirmations off? After all, not everyone probably keeps a lot of important eggs around. x3

Man, like my hatchery. It's just. Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled, fresh but on the way to being spoiled, spoiled... Not a valuable egg in sight.

I don't really think confirmations are that big of a nuance. What's one extra click? Unlike the CAPTCHA code (which really is a bother), it doesn't take much effort do confirm you want to do something, and it'd do good for more users than it'd annoy.

Yoshi: I would fully support if it was optional.
Grave: You do pose a point.

I just didn't support because I don't want stuff like, popping up when I want to delete eggs. I have like, 200 of them and I let them rot. xD Sometimes I get delete-happy and delete them, so I wouldn't want it to pop up. :S

The other part of my suggestion was to just move the delete button, so you couldnt accidentally click delete instead of send. There doesn't have to be a pop up, but it would be convenient for some people...and although not everyone makes this mistake, some people just have off days. If it wasn't a real money item that could be deleted like that, I wouldn't care.

Clouding: The egg deletion confirmation would just be like the confirmation alert for sending pets. It's easy enough to code and won't be much of a hassle for us.

As I said, unless you had the option to turn it off, I don't support. I really don't like the "Are You Sure?" notice popping up on my computer. ;/
