So I was just deleting one of my threads, and I was thinking ~ Wouldn't it be great if there could just be a button that says *delete Thread* on the actual thread?

I'm not sure if it is possible for staff to make the button actually delete the thread when you click the button, but maybe it would send some sort of notification or something to the person that delete's all the threads Or maybe when you click that button it will automatically post the link to your thread in the *Cleaning Forums* Thread.. also not sure if that is possible.. but something along those lines, you get the idea...

I think if something like this was to be implemented into this site, it would encourage more people to delete their threads as there are probably a lot of users here who can't be bothered going into the advertisements --> Cleaning Forums to delete their threads, this would help stop a lot of the clogging up of the forums.

I was also thinking that maybe Threads could have some sort of expiry date, in which they will be deleted after not being viewed for a certain amount of weeks/months or something... The owner of the thread would be sent an Rmail stating that their thread will be deleted if they do not view or post on it in like a week after they have opened the Rmail.. Not sure if thats possible.. but yeah, would also help stop clogging up the forums and help stop people from bringing up dead threads because there wouldn't be any :O

Please comment and leave your opinion whether it's good or bad :D

I like the idea of a delete thread button, but not so much an expiration date. There are some threads that I no longer post on but still reference frequently. I suppose I could just copy and past the contents into a word document, so xD

Basically, unclogging the forum system = support :3

The reason why average users do not have Delete function is, that it would make possible to create scam boards or post rude things about someone and then delete it before staff could notice.

I personally am neutral on this but I doubt it will ever happen for above reason.

Yaiz ~ That is why I also stated "maybe the delete button would send some sort of notification or something to the person that delete's all the threads Or maybe when you click that button it will automatically post the link to your thread in the *Cleaning Forums* Thread"

Renaissance - That's why I mentioned that the expiration date would only apply to threads that have not been posted on OR viewed in that time. I'm not sure if it's possible to do that.. but yeah...
