So, a while back I was chatting in the SB with some folks, and a bunch of people agreed Res needed a Ferret creatu. I started doodling, and the baby came out very ferret-ish. As it grew and developed in my mind, however, it somehow got long fangs, a slightly fox-ish build, and a skunk stripe.

I'm thinking the Wazzle could either be on Reiflem, with blacks, browns, and oranges/reds as the nattie colors, or Scria, with a pastel pelt and dark accents.

I'd love some input here, suggestions, whatever. Useful commentary, not just "omg it r cute lolz!!".You wanna' comment on how it's drawn, you can do that on my DA

Actually, I'm very impressed with the drawings. However, I really don't think Rescreatu is in need for more creatu at the moment.

I wonder what it would look like colored...but I must say that the teen is drawn at a somewhat awkward position...it appeared kinda hunchbacked to me at first. D: Constructive crit, hope it helped.

It could be a CS or seasonal Creatu... And, not being a dragon, it should cheer up the people going "OMG, too many dragunz!".

I like the part about it being a seasonal, but not a CS pet. Not elegant enough.

There are a few holidays who still don't have their own creatu. For example, our upcoming Fourth of July.

It doesnt look seasonal to me at all. I think it should be a relcore creatu, with green and brown-orange colors. I loved the teen stage, its beautiful. Also the baby stage. But the adult looks... weird? It looks a little to much like a real animal. Its like a squirrel with fangs. Maybe you should add something unique, original.

Yeah, it took me a while to finish drawing up the Adult.

Now I feel like drawing more concept art for more new creatu...

I must say, I quite agree a ferret-esque creatu should be released, and I'm glad the Wazzle ended up looking so cute. Props to you for being able to design it so well!

I favor the position of the adult in the concept sketch, its body seems to flow better. Gorgeous markings on all sketches! The staff should definitely look into the Wazzle as a next release possibility when the time comes for a new release.

 I think, Rauhiss, a dolphin/whale- themed creatu would look nice, if you are at a loss for another idea. (?)

I spend a lot of time doodling animals, so yeah...

I went with a different pose from the concept sketch because that seemed a bit more cat- or fox-like than what I wanted... Well, there's always time to work out the kinks.

People have been suggesting whales. I'm thinking maybe some sort of whale-agator, maybe somewhat like the Pleisiosaurs, the short-necked-big-headded ones, not the long-necked-tiny-headded "nessie" ones.

Ah.

 A whale-agator/Pleisiosaur sounds very interesting! I think that res could do with some more aquatic-type creatu. Fish, dolphin, whale influences, ya know? Just to balance out what seems to be an increasing number of reptilian/furry four-legged animals.

I fail at making up creative spins on animals. My last try looked like a cross between a snail and a giraffe. xD
