okay. most people wish they could have more hatches every now and then (or maybe all the time O_O), and i'm a merchant, so i'm frequently annoyed by my one-hatch limit.

my idea is this: selling hatches in the credit shop! :D 1 credit each, with a maximum use of ten a day. this translates to 100k per hatch for those who do not pay in real currency. it's not a half-bad idea, if you think about it. to get the extra ten hatches for just one day, you'd have to pay a dollar or 1mil tu.

OR water's suggestion: one extra hatch per day for 50 credits. which makes more sense. that would be 5mil to get an extra hatch every day.

i don't think these should be tangible items, just added to your hatchery count. really there's no reason for them to be items unless you wanted to gift them to someone. hm, maybe they could be items.

This would hurt more than help.  You can already buy unnamed pets from others if you wish to use names on other pets or buy a different color.   I don't see any problem with doing this, as it still puts the same amount of pets into the playing field.  You could buy an unnamed pet for 10k or less rather than spending 100k just for one hatch.  Ten hatches a day is also far too many, especially if it cost only 1mil.  Right now, I myself could get ten extra hatches a day for 100 days if I used my tu only on that.  Every time I spent tu on all ten hatches, I would put over four times as many pets as usual into the game.  The more rare pets I can hatch, the less they will be worth because more and more will be going into the game.

I partially disagree. For one, Tacos has several good points. There are enough pets on Res. If merchants are complaining about not having enough hatches too, then that's their problem. They can always switch back to rancher, and it's not as if they don't have their own bonuses.

At the same time, I'd love to have more hatches. I hate having my hatchery fully loaded with expensive eggs and not being able to instantly hatch them. But to be able to buy another hatch for just 1 credit? Way, way too cheap. And to be able to buy 10 extra hatches per day for a measly 1 million? Way, way too easy.

I was thinking one extra hatch per day for 50 credits. I believe 50 is a nice number because a lot of users often have 50 credits lying around with no actual use for them.

i'm sorry 1 million tu has a different value to me than it does to you XD if you mean one extra hatch every day for fifty credits, then okay. that sounds nice, too.

and now that i think back on it, 1 credit does sound a just a smidgeon too cheap. hee.

I disagree as well.

The pets are already too cheap minus the valueable colored pets, the seasonals, and the retired ones. Many of them have lousy names as well, so that would only get much worse if the Credit Shop starts selling hatches at ANY price.

As a Rancher, I'm saying this for the rancher economy, not for myself. I have to buy and throw badly named pets into the forest so the value of pets can be raised a little. With the ability to buy extra hatches, that would be bad for the already very low value for the nattie creatus we have.
