Before I go any furthur, I'd like to say that I know Name Tags seem to be a good source of income, but this suggestiin will not nullify them :)
And sorry if I seem really scatterbrained; there's...a lot of stuff that I have to try and put into words. Please for clarification if you don't understand anything.
There's currently 3 ways to delete a pet name from the system:
Let it rot in the graveyard, let it go in the forest, or buy a name tag.
I've always had pets that I'd prefer to get deleted to have their name released for the next person to discover and use, and up until now I've just released them into the forest for players to find, but I find it a really horrible way to give away things because even though pets are eventually deleted (not sure how long that takes) they're normally taken before then. And I can't let them die because not only am I using the food pen and keeping it VERY full (as it's intended to be used), but I very well cannot buy a ton of 2m tu Potions of Death.
I would really love another way to have a name removed from a pet that doesn't give users to take the pet, too. But I also don't want to keep the pet so that it gives me the chance to take the name back the second it's removed, if that makes sense?
Maybe a sort of amnesia thing? Or you offer the pet to one of the planet gods and it's deleted from the system at a random point while rewarding you?
Idk in general there really should be a way to delete pets. All the pets can't be good on the server ;p
