Basic Idea:
An one-day-only event that grants every account a large(ish) number of hatches!

Suggested Event Names:
✦ Hatch-a-thon (stintsss)
✦ Hatchpocalypse (Vol)

How many hatches?
 A few ideas on how to limit hatches -

✤ Hatches could be limited by time/incubation (ie - one per 30 minutes)
✤ Hatches could be earned through minigames or tasks
✤ A simple set number of hatches per account (ie 10, 20, 30, etc)
✤ Special, instantly-hatchable eggs could be found as REs or in Explore
✤ Maybe an item is required to be able to hatch more eggs - something you have to earn/find

A leaderboard could be part of the event, or milestone prizes.

I think this would be a great annual event for New Years or Spring, as a part of a "rebirth" or "new beginnings" theme. :)
Seems like a celebratory kind of event. It might help get Kir quests moving again too!

p.s this would be a great time (down the road) to introduce the ability to have unnamed pets. :'D

I'm sorry I've definitely already forgotten some of the ideas that were shared in the sb (I have the memory of a goldfish) so please add your thoughts!

Thank you Oriette for putting this together! It was an exciting idea that just came up while in SB.

A concern could be over-saturating the number of creatu because of the many hatches. Some other ideas that were thrown around to combat this were either having the ability to trade in creatu for points in the leaderboard (Nattie 1 pt, sepia 2, etc.). In addition, another idea was to have some sort of trading in system where you have to hatch say, 5 black berrok during the hatch event and then you receive tokens. Those tokens then can be traded in for the real creatu itself as a "prize"

Ooh this could be fun! We’d definitely need something to trade in the lower colours though so the game isn’t over run with them
