I like that there is a lot going on around the site lately.
~Relcore Comet Festival~ ~ I liked the quest before the actual start of the festival. ~ I found a lot of the Stardust. Exchenged some for other items in the NPC Exchenge, sold some and got a lot of money. ~ The design of the site was cool. ~ Overall it was really great event.
~Summer (Gnarly Luau)~ ~ I liked the Sand Castle game. ~ Sadly I didn't get any of the items because I really don't have all day to sit by computer and stalk the NPC shops. Finding items in random events around the site like in the Relcore Comet Festival would be much better. ~ The Seashell Scavenger Hunt was good. The shells are so pretty, it's great that we got them back. ~ Overall it was good event but it could use a little modification.
~No Fish in Atquati~ ~ I liked the plot behind this event. ~ Sadly this event was so short, I wanted to collect all the new flowers. ~ The prizes were a little dissapointing. ~ Overall it was good event but it could use a little modification.

Current style of egg hunting is great, and the recent art update is fantastic thanks.

Ok so this quest was phenomenal Give whoever wrote it a raise because that imagery and deion was top notch I loved everything about it. Also character development holy cow. In terms of completing the quest, the riddles were sometimes hard - specifically the ones leading you to places one wouldn't generally go to on the site, but if you understood the riddle enough to find the area it was a really fun challenge! Adding the keys into the egg search was also a great idea, so you don't have to waste time on not searching for one, you can search for both at the same time.
Contests (Were you excited to enter the contests? What other contests would you like to see?)
Yes! I personally liked having an open theme art contest this year, maybe having both that and the colouring contest would be cool.
The Lair (Do you like the concept of the lair? Did you think that the lair prizes were worth turning in your items?)
Personally didn't have much luck with the lair, but I was more than willing to hand over the items in an attempt to get a prize.
Jaaku/Ebilia Exchanges (Did you find the prizes to be worth handing in your creatu? What other prizes would you like to see?)
Considering they're a once a year item I think it's worth it.
Updates (How did you like the updates for this event? Did you prefer them spaced out, or would you like everything released all at once?)
Haha Releasing everything at once would be awesome, of course. But at the same time the spaced out version gives users time to sort the quest out and catch up, etc.
Undeads (What do you think of the undead Jaaku? What creatu species would you like to see in undead next?)
Undead art is always fantastic, I'll be happy with anything you throw at us always!
Overall (How was the experience? Did you enjoy it?)
Overall experience was complete enjoyment!
I've always been a massive fan of the Xisters quests and stories so this entire event was a dream, thanks guys!!

Just like last year, the site display change truly made it feel like Halloween was finally here. The different look is great, and fits the spooky season perfectly B) The new format was interesting! It didn't bring along the pressure of 'oh man oh man gotta get to the limit' along with it as it was more free spirited, in a way. Plus, no matter if you're a 'nobody' or a more known user, it's equal for everyone, and the prizes fully depend on how actively you go from 'door to door'. Bless. This quest. Oh man. Loved the idea, loved the story, the DIALOGUE WAS BRILLIANT, the characters are relatable and the places and situations felt real. Absolutely loved this whole thing! Though I can imagine getting the keys could be difficult for people who're unable to spend a lot of time hunting for them, nor have enough money to just buy them. But personally, the item artwork and whole quest was extremely nice, well done staff!! It kind of lacked the incentive to actively turn items in. Popped in a couple of spares I had, either got one or two items or nothing, that's.. pretty much it. It was interesting how the quest tied the places and themes together, but solely the Lair was a bit.. plain? Tbh in favour of the quest and other sites' simultaneous Halloween events, the jaaku/ebbi hunts were kind of low on my personal priority list. It's been there, done before and seen and once you know how it works it's kind of the same thing every year. The newly added items are lovely, though! Okay, while the undead jaaku is an interesting concept, can't say it was bit of a downer just seeing one new undead pet this year, as compared to last years' variable bunches. Also, while the quest was more in the star role this Halloween, I wish there would have been a way to get undead pets other than using the COTUs - the way it's been random occasions on past years.
Very spoopy, much interest, very season-appropriate. Loved this year's Res Halloween! o/

HALLOWEEN EVENT: First of all I'd like to say that Halloween is my favorite holiday. Unfortunately for me, it's not really celebrated where I live. But that's okay, I still have Rescreatu Halloween! Anyway, I had fun with the key quest; the riddles were simple enough once you read them over. I also liked venturing into the caves and the forest to look for eggs and items. As for the lair prizes-well, I guess a Rabid Pumpkin or a Spooky Myotis Backpack for several pieces of candy is fair. Finally, the quest prizes. I got both Charms of Protection, the truffles and the cupcakes-looks pretty good to me! (I like the look of the higher level prizes, but I had went and released all my hatched natties and so couldn't quite reach the goal.) Overall though, thanks for making a great Halloween! |

Contests (Were you excited to enter the contests? What other contests would you like to see?) I really wanted to enter the photography contest, but there were problems with uploading it. I did enter the Dream HA one :) I know there's already PAB,but could there be a short writing/poetry competition, say, under 500 words? Not too long or people wouldn't be bothered to read it. It would be different since users vote for it.
The Lair (Do you like the concept of the lair? Did you think that the lair prizes were worth turning in your items?) Yep, it helps really reduce the clutter of ToT prizes.
Jaaku/Ebilia Exchanges (Did you find the prizes to be worth handing in your creatu? What other prizes would you like to see?) I didn't like the prices that much; maybe introduce some new ones next year? I don't know exactly what, but something different. There also should be some rarer stuff you can get for more points ;like something worth 10,000 points. And perhaps receive prizes for passing a certain point eg prize for 1000 points, 5000, 10000 etc Could we also hand in dyed jaakus/ebilias too? And the biggest one of all; have an option to give in multiple jaakus or ebbies at once. I spent more than an hour slowly handing them in. It's five clicks to hand just one in and go back to the start which is really tedious.
Updates (How did you like the updates for this event? Did you prefer them spaced out, or would you like everything released all at once?) I would prefer them not as spaced out as this, but not all at once either.
Undeads (What do you think of the undead Jaaku? What creatu species would you like to see in undead next?) Loved it. Beautiful <3 Would love to see kioka, omni and liyure in undead.

I loved seeing the new site display, it was really cool and got me more of into the Halloween mood. Being able to hatch creatu in specific dye colors some months is also really cool! It also gives a chance to more new players to have a dyed pet. Trick or Treating (How did you like the new format of Trick or Treating? What were your favourite items to collect?) I had a blast going from player to player collecting tricks and treats, and my favorite items to collect were the avatar items and the stale ghost cookies. Seasonal Egg Hunts (Do you like the current style of egg hunting or would you prefer another method? What other items would you like to be able to find?) I enjoyed searching for the items, it makes it a bit more challenging to get seasonal items, which is a good thing. Quest (Did you enjoy it? What did you think of the dialogue and the riddles? Were you able to find the keys and complete the quest?) The quest was absolutely fantastic and I loved the story, villain, and riddles. Although the riddles are a bit hard for new players, it was fun none the less. Contests (Were you excited to enter the contests? What other contests would you like to see?) The lair was really eerie, and I thought the lair prizes were really exciting and turning in my treats and tricks were no problem. I felt the prizes were worth handing in my creatu because they were all so amazing and adorable and creepy and stufff. I think 2 items that would be really cool would be some Jaaku claws or Ebilia claws for your avatar Updates (How did you like the updates for this event? Did you prefer them spaced out, or would you like everything released all at once?) I actually enjoyed having them spaced out. If they were all together I feel as if it would be overwhelming and which them all spaced out you can finish them right as the next update is coming out. Omg, I think the retired creatu (Omni, Liyure, and Kioka) would look really cool with the undead effect. Maybe also the Uldavian creatu o.o Overall (How was the experience? Did you enjoy it?) Haha, I'm very over-excited bout this event because it was my first seasonal egg event thing and it was A LOT of fun for me to be able to hunt for eggs and solve the riddles, and share some of that with my twin (Torsho). What if next year, because Nekrosis has possession over Xoria's body we were able to be team Nekrosis? o.o

Elijah's Quest + Divuin Egg Hunting in the Ice Caves The quest was fun. I loved Elijah, he was a fun character. So cute, so excitable, and it made discovering a new creatu fascinating.
However.
Bone Exchange for Uilus + Narwi
While this was an interesting development, I didn't appreciate how it was thrust upon the users. I understand the need to keep new releases secret, but there was no warning. Now maybe I'm just a sensitive snowflake, but change like that aggravates my anxiety. I'd been looking forward since I came back to hunting for owls, and had made plans to set aside time just for that.
This is not to say I don't appreciate the new creatu. I understand and appreciate greatly the effort the artists went to in order to make it happen. I was simply significantly uncomfortable as well as discouraged with the sudden and quite drastic change.

Rosa's Resmas Preparation This was cute, and fun, and I did it for a bit before forgetting about it completely. However I'm not the best person to ask about this since I have a very short attention span.
The Lost List Same for this. On the other hand, I do love the Narwi. While he comes off as quite rude, I like him as a small character. Even named a nattie narwi Willoughby in his honor.
I cannot say for sure how it is at the end since I'm only 9/12 so far.
Secret Santa Neat idea. I think there should be a rule on asking for insanely ridiculously priced/retired items though. That made it nearly impossible to give anything.
Advent Calendar First year I finished it and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I know the prize is an enter in the raffle for an OAK, but that leaves every single other person that didn't win that, but also made an effort to complete it, disappointed.
I think there should be, even if it's minor, a prize for simply completing all 30 days.
Contests I don't do contests, sorry.
Overall It was confusing and overwhelming, and it was a rollercoaster of emotions. The most emotional conflict I had was about the egg situation, as detailed above.
I did love how engaging it was, though, so there's that as a bonus c:

Elijah's Quest + Divuin Egg Hunting in the Ice Caves The quest was a little hard for me. I had to ask for help. Mainly because I didn't know you could cook the items...but probably my fault for not reading that somewhere?? The egg hunt good except the crevice in the cave would hide items. It was even hard to see when you used ctrl+a to highlight the entire page. I also didn't like that the counter was brought back..like if you were to get 5/6 eggs. I have ocd so that bothered me owo Overall rating 9/10
Tree Decorating I did not participate in this mainly because I'm lazy x3 but it is a great event and I plan to stock up for next year!
Rosa's Resmas Preparation This is also another event I didn't participate in. Getting the squishies/toys is hard when everyone is after them just wasn't my cup of tea.
The Lost List I thought this was super cool! Still working on it owo I like the aspects of the certain areas needing certain creatus etc. however the art looks old? I think it should be updated. Overall rating 9/10
Secret Santa Secret Santa is always great it's just hard to give users what they want when they ask for super expensive stuff D; not your fault tho. Overall rating 10/10
Advent Calendar I love the calendar buttt I missed a day D; I think the days people miss should show the item instead of the box just so you know what item you missed. Overall rating 9/10
Contests I didn't enter...I think I will get more involved next year.
Bone Exchange for Uilus + Narwi I think this was a semi-good idea. I think we should be allowed to hunt for Uilus still like the Divuin and then trade bones for Narwi. It's just too much for both of them. Also the bones being 1pt really sucked tbh it's just tedious work to get them all Overall rating 8/10
Overall Overall everything together I would rate it a 9/10. Just a few things that irked me. Otherwise it was great!

I had to ask for some help..I understood the hunting..but i didnt know because the new creatu was big a suprize..and i didn't know how to cook ropes.But some people knew and they help out really well.
Tree Decorating The tree was easy..Understood that one..but maybe we can bring tinsel back, as a random event thingy.
Rosa's Resmas Preparation Umm..i didnt think it was nessesary..because we were going to get stocking anyways from the tree and from S.S. maybe she can be more usfull in another way?
The Lost List Oh dear res gods...this was hard!a full hours untill you hunt again?wow,way too long.12 pages..an hour for each is 12 hours..pluss you miss or get stuff wrong..it took most of us 4 days,and people are still tuck on it.Maybe if it was 30min..then it wouldnt take so long.and he didnt even say 'thankyou' for finding the list..or telling me HOW these pages got away in the first place by a snotty narwi.
Secret Santa Loved S.S.! I truly think this is a great part..all because you can give,and feel good about it knowing users really want these things.
Advent Calendar Its ok.I like getting H.A. items in there to dress up in..and i love the pet rock.

I really enjoy seeing everyones hard work.Maybe a gift wrapping contest..BUT it has to be res-related.like how res's creatu holiday boxes are. Bone Exchange for Uilus + Narwi 100 bones.Mmmm..50 maybe would been better.narwi is still scarce..so this makes them probly more scarce. Overall (How was your Rescreatu winter experience? Did you enjoy it?) I love all the surprises! The new creatus!!..The new items..new contests. Really got my on the edge..waiting for more.very nicely done.I still don't know what to do with this back pack. do we put it on later in the game or is it just junk now? I don't see anything open for the ice caves. And I am curious..about Akuria tails..i know probly turkey day is gone from res..but,maybe put the tails into another event,because they only ever came out one as prizes...maybe for easter?? Sorry..off-track.. It was a very good event so-far.but the waiting time of things was the only let-down. and hour for pages...and waiting to lug out 100 bones for one egg.

I needed some help with figuring out the recipe for the items, I was confused because I wasn't sure if there was a recipe card or if I was just being dumb XD Other than that I found the quest quite fun. :> The egg hunt was fun too but rip my eyes trying to find blue eggs in a blue background XD I remember one egg being super hard to find. If it wasn't for the control highlight thing I wouldn't have found it (also I missed it lmao rip)
Tree Decorating
I thought the tree decorating was fun. But it got a bit too competitive and stressful for me with trying to find items to hang on the tree lol (also it was hard for me to get stockings from the secret santa/rosa's thing)
Rosa's Resmas Preparation
I didn't spend too much time on this. Trying to find certain squishies took too long for me and I end up forgetting to do this quest.
The Lost List
I like this! I had fun answering the trivia questions~ the only annoying thing about this was having to wait too long if I didn't find the narwi. I feel like if you do find a list, keep the wait to 1 hour. But for the times you don't find the narwi maybe keep it to half an hour??? idk lol I usually end up forgetting to go back to find a list
Secret Santa
This was a splendid idea, I thought it was super lovely and had a great time participating in this. Like what other users have said before me, I think maybe some restriction to certain items should be put up. Esp on retired/super special rare items or something. It'll be better able to give more obtainable items to users + also get a stocking.
Advent Calendar
I can't remember the last time I've done the advent calendar but I had fun with this~ when I miss a day tho I got a bit stressed about it. (idk if that was relevant but there u go XD)

I don't usually enter contests because no time/I forget lol. But I wanted to partake in the art one! I think the variety of categories was good~

Tbh I was not so happy with this. I'd much rather stick with finding the actual eggs than the bones for the exchange thing. But I don't think I would've had time to find these eggs if it were a quest X"D I think this is a a good idea tho esp since there is a hunt for the new creatu
Overall (How was your Rescreatu winter experience? Did you enjoy it?)
I had a fun time. I didn't think I was able to enjoy it as much as I would've liked because I was busy in real life. But seeing my art being used/liked by users warms my heart XD Out of all the events and games for winter, I enjoyed the secret santa the most.

Elijah's Quest + Divuin Egg Hunting in the Ice Caves Understood the gist of everything, but I did have to ask for help because I didn't understand the recipes, and I didn't understand I had to click another item before being able to use the Ice Pick (I was too afraid of being locked out for another hour after already being locked out so much from misunderstanding)
Once I actually got to the Egg Hunting, I really enjoyed myself and found over 200 eggs and lots of bones. I liked the idea behind getting to the hunting, didn't like the actual doing it part because I was frustrated and just wanted my eggs.
I was also a tad bummed that (so far) I can't really get Uilus eggs. It makes sense, story wise, so I get it, and I'm really glad we got new Creatu out of this, but I am still sad that I couldn't hunt for more than the Divuin.
Tree Decorating I hardly participated in this, to be honest. I gave exactly three items, because by the time I got the items the tree was already 97% finished.
Rosa's Resmas Preparation What was this part? xD Sorry, I forgot, so I guess I was "eh" with it? Was that just finding her toys? If so, I didn't do that at all. I started a quest but never found all the things she wanted.
The Lost List Ok, this was fun to me! I love trivia, and even though Thurman (that was the Narwi's name, right?) frustrated me a lot, I really had fun and I answered the questions fairly easily. I like the idea of actually having to have a pet that can swim/fly as an active pet, as it gives me more reason to have them out! ^_^
Secret Santa I really liked this too. I liked the anonymity of it, until the person accepts the gift or whatever, and I liked giving to people. I never really know how to give to people since I just lurk here and people don't know me, so I don't want to throw things at them in fear of seeming creepy and stalkerish. But this way, there was no question of how I knew what they wanted and I could still give things!
Advent Calendar Eh, never been fond of the Advent Calendar because Holiday time is busy and sometimes I don't have internet to get on. More power to the people that can get on every day, but usually I cannot since I'm busy, but I understand that there are a lot of people who work hard to get online so it's nice for them :)
Contests Didn't bother with contests this year, though I like the idea of the photography contest. If they're here again next year, I'll make a more conscious effort to join.
Bone Exchange for Uilus + Narwi As stated above, I was looking forward to Uilus hunting and I am bummed that after 48 hours of getting over 1000 bones, I can only have 10 eggs. I just ended up listing them on the market because 10 eggs doesn't feel worth it to hatch.
Again, it did fit with the story so I guess it was kind of cool.
Overall Overall, I enjoyed the winter events, especially because we got these beautiful new Creatu! Really, really love the Eleodon, and Divuin are cute too! Maybe I'd rate this a 7.5/10? :P Maybe a prior knowledge that I wouldn't be hunting Uilus would have made me more keen on this, but I was pumping myself up since last year's Uilus hunt that I'd be able to find a lot of eggs, so that was what really bummed me out about this event. Still got lots of eggs though, and Divuin are cute, so I'll survive until I'm able to get Uilus eggs eventually.
If you didn't partake in an aspect of the event, why not? What would have encouraged you to do so? Didn't partake in Rosa's event because it wasn't open that long, to my recollection. If there was a grace day for the calendar, I would be more keen on really trying, but eh, if there isn't a grace day once in a while for the spring, it wouldn't make sense to do it for a monthly calendar.

Elijah's Quest + Divuin Egg Hunting in the Ice Caves (Were you able to understand and complete the quest yourself or did you have to ask for help?)
I had to ask for a little help because I didn't realise you didn't get everything in the survival pack and had to find and make the other items needed xD Once I knew that though I was good to go! It was challenging but not too challenging to make me frustrated or want to give up. I LOVED hunting the Divuin eggs even if I did get tired of it quickly but I have no patience with egg hunting.
Tree Decorating
Didn't participate as I'm on my phone and find it hard to snag items from shops needed. It's a fun winter thing though and I love the background that the leaderboard guys got!
Rosa's Resmas Preparation
Did not participate for same reason as above. It was nice that there was more than one way to get stockings this year though and to be guaranteed the one you want
The Lost List
I loved this! I found it super fun testing my res knowledge. I think the wait time was a little lengthy though especially since you weren't guaranteed a list each time
Secret Santa
Such a lovely feature to the event! Christmas is the time of giving after all.
Advent Calendar
I loved the new prizes this year, especially the pet rock and backgrounds

The only contest I could enter was the HA one because of the phone problem. The photos on my phone were in the wrong format and there's no way for me to change that xD Maybe next year, have an option to upload from an imgur link.
Bone Exchange for Uilus + Narwi
No complaints here! Bones are free and easy enough to get even if finding them is a little time consuming

I was extremely happy with event! Something new and fresh that made me excited to log on everyday and see what's happening next.
I truly appreciate all the work staff put into this event, well done guys <3

Elijah's Quest + Divuin Egg Hunting in the Ice Caves The fact that we weren't given the recipes until the hunt almost closed and there are no hints that let us know what to do for one specific item... I don't know if it was overlooked or if it was thought that it was obvious, but I know I, at least, looked like an idiot trying to buy the account-locked item.
The Divuin is adorable, if a little complex design-wise for a regular Creatu. But hey, penguins are cute <3 And the baby is a sweet l'il puff.
Tree Decorating Did not partake in this. Never can buy decorations in time and I would rather save and spend that money on something that's actually gonna make me feel good instead of a stocking with the same 7 items it's had for years.
Rosa's Resmas Preparation Did not partake in this. I actually don't even know what this is.
The Lost List That hour-long cooldown sucks. I understand the need for one but without something to send an alert when the timer runs, I forget about it so I don't really like doing the Lost List thing.
Secret Santa Fun, but it's just reused from previous years with no expansion. The inclusion of tiers would be nice (50k, 100k, etc), or the ability to receive gifts and not open them until Christmas.
Advent Calendar Hrodolf's item deion pisses me off.
Contests I didn't enter the contest because they're always the same and there's no point. Site artists are allowed to enter the art contests so of course the votes are going to be skewed in their favor. No one ever really enters the physical craft contests and the HA contestants all look about the same and it's boring, plus voting is a pain in the ass.
Bone Exchange for Uilus + Narwi I wasted all my bones in the hopes that they might be worth more than one point but nada. So now I am without fossils and very sad.
Overall Eh, I'd give it a 7/10. More fun than previous years have been, but a lot of flaws add up to make it almost annoying.

I found it extremely confusing, not well explained and difficult. I found myself not even wanting to complete the quest and spam clicking through the dialogue.

Contests (Were you excited to enter the contests? What other contests would you like to see?) I think allowing voting already is unfair to people unable to submit. Allow the longer window for submission but dont allow voting until submissions are over maybe.

If you didn't partake in an aspect of the event, why not? What would have encouraged you to do so? Eh there were parts i just had zero interest in

This was the part of this event that needed the most work. The event was stretched out way too far, with only about 10 lines for a few days. I would say get from start to the egg hunt in 5 days. At first, I was too lazy to read the paragraph and got locked out for 1 hour. And I repeated the same mistake about 5 times and got to a point where I just quit the egg hunt. Luckily, Satan helped me and told me I had to get specific items and such. The recipes need to be in the update. Many people don't have time to cook random things in the cooking basin hoping it'll turn out. I felt left in the blue. It was confusing but I made it. The egg hunting was good, not too hard to miss. Overall, the size of instructions need to be cut down and the time you can't do anything shrunken. People tend to stray from reading long "stories".
Tree Decorating Tree decorating is always fun and I think it should be continued. Please implement the one item per purchase. I felt like I was fighting in the hunger games for candles >.> I always like to see the pretty leaderboard prizes. However, I think the leaderboard should be cut down to 25 like the bone collection was. Also, it would be helpful if the update specified which place you had to be in to get a prize. I was told top 10, 25, and 50 from different helpers in the SB and I was very confused. (and an alert when giving out prizes would be nice too)
Rosa's Resmas Preparation I did not really participate in this event. The prize did not seem worth the hunt to get all 4 items. People kept buying out things I needed. I would like to see the one item per purchase put in the toy and squishy shop too. Because then merchants would charge me crazy amounts and I just left this part behind.
The Lost List I did not participate in this event much. It was confusing. 12 lists are too many. I did not understand why lists weren't in every place. This would already take 12 hours if you got every question right. Completely lost interest after having to wait 1 hour.
Secret Santa I'm glad Res has come up with a way to prevent scamming of other users. It was fun but the prize wasn't much. Stockings are the prize for almost every winter event. Variety would be nice. Advent Calendar I did participate in this. More HA items would be nice and less Kiokadeer squishies tbh XD Contests I entered into the contests. The dream ha auto uploading was great :D But voting is a hassle and it's hard to see the HA pics.
Bone Exchange for Uilus + Narwi Actually this might be the most upsetting part of the event. I hated the fact that there was no egg hunting. Very disappointing. 100 bones is a little too much I get that they are like semi extinct and all but I don't have time to hunt forever. I got less than 50 bones during my egg hunt. It was horrible. Kir keeps on eating these up and the price is only going to go up. I didn't even get a single egg. Definitely don't recommend this again although I get to concept. Overall I would give this even a 7/10. The event could have been executed better. It needs to start and go on at a faster pace. Less, but more clear writing. The ince tunnels not opening was also extremely disappointing. Fabulous art, especially the ice caves :)
Edit: So the ice caves did open, I apologize. I would love to see more frost light effects developed than 1 per year though. Personally, I would really like to see tesuri and some more cs pets. However, the trading divuins for narwi eggs was just >.> First of all, divuins are new and you cannot expect users to have a bunch to trade in. Secondly, 200 points when natties are worth 5? Like whoops, I hatched all my divuin eggs >.> But I feel like this is even worse than the bones because once your 48 hours are gone you're a goner too. If this was implemented earlier I maybe would have been able to get myself a ulisus egg this year

I'm kinda upset that the easter parade outfit is in an NPC shop and is only available for a limited time. I don't have a lot of time to be online so I probably won't be able to get it...
