Chapter One

They were the best Exploration Team around. Every Pokemon looked up to them. The team consisted of three pokemon; Charizard, Leafeon and Suicune. Charizard was kind and brave, and loved adventure. She was strong but only used her strength and fierce fire attacks for good. Then there was Leafeon. He was smaller than the other two members of the team so he was usually best for recovery missions and finding treasure in hard to reach places. He was over-eager and sometimes annoying, but he always meant well. Lastly there was Suicune. He was the wise and clever team leader. He was just and true and never broke a promise. Together, these three pokemon covered each other's weaknesses and kept each other strong. This was Team Triforce, the team that never failed.

One day, Suicune and his team were wandering through a Pokemon Village. They had no other missions for that day and were keeping an eye out for trouble, just in case they were needed.

"I don't think anything could go wrong here." Charizard said. "This town is so peaceful."

"That may be." Suicune replied. "But we should finish patrolling before we leave. You never know, something MIGHT happen."

"Hey, look at that guy over there!" Leafeon cried, suddenly. "He looks a bit suspicious to me." Suicune and Charizard turned. Leaning against a nearby tree was a pokemon. Or at least, that's what they THOUGHT he was. But they couldn't tell because he was wearing a long, black, hooded cloak. But that's when they noticed that the mysterious figure was HOVERING. He was definately hovering a few inches above the ground. And they noticed his hands; red and green.

"How can he do that?!" Leafeon gasped. "It's like he can fly, but he hasn't got any wings!" The figure turned and looked at them.

"....are you Team Triforce?" the stranger asked. His accent was strange. It sounded foreign.

"Yes, we are." Suicune said. "And you are?"

"I am Deoxys." the stranger said. "And I have come to warn you....a great disaster is going to happen. One that will destroy everything in it's path."

"What do you mean?" Charizard asked. "What disaster? Is it an earthquake?"

"It is something worse than an earthquake. Much worse." Deoxys said, taking down the hood of his cloak and revealing his strange, robotic face. It made Leafeon shiver.

"Wha...what is it, then?" Leafeon asked. But Deoxys made no reply. Instead he turned his head to the sky.

"It is now." he muttered. Before Suicune or the others could react there came a piercing screech from the sky. Lightning flashed around the sky and the clouds turned black.  Pokemon ran for cover a a giant flying pokemon descended from the storm.

"It is Rayquaza..." Deoxys said. "The Dark Lord has come."

Chapter 2

With an almighty roar, the truly gigantic Dragon-type pokemon swooped down. He was met by a Psybeam attack from Deoxys. As the titan crashed into the ground below, Deoxys approached. Several nearby buildings had been destroyed by the force of Rayquaza falling to the ground and Deoxys had to float above the debris; thankfully, no other Pokemon were hurt.

As Team Triforce stood there, too shocked to act, Rayquaza lifted himself into the air. Upon seeing Deoxys, he roared once again.

"We meet again, old foe!" he cried. 

"Rayquaza, this is your final warning!" Deoxys said, remarkably calmly. (Leafeon wondered if it was because Deoxys was all machine and had no emotion). "Call off your evil plans and retreat now! Or I shall raise an army against you and defeat you once and for all!" Rayquaza simply burst out laughing, his laughter sounding exactly like thunder clapping.

"You can never defeat me!" he belowed. "I will soon be invincible, once I awaken The Justice. And nothing will stop me then! You puny Pokemon will never stop me, the Sky Titan!"

Before anyone could act, Rayquaza had smacked Deoxys right out of the air with his tail. The metallic pokemon crashed to the ground...and didn't move. Charizard gasped. Suicune glanced over at her.

" Charizard..." he said. But his friend wasn't listening. The fire on her tail was blazing fiercely and there was a fierce look in her eyes. Before Suicune or Leafeon could stop her, Charizard had flown forward to confront Rayquaza. She fired a powerful Flamethrower attack. It caught him off guard, hitting him square on the head. With a roar of anger he turned to consider Charizard, Suicune and Leafeon.

"You pathetic beings might stand up to me now, but once I free The Justice, nothing will ever stop me!" he cried. Charizard had landed by now and was by the still body of Deoxys. Rayquaza looked around at them all. Then, with a final shriek of fury, he flew up into the clouds.

"Yeah, you'd better run!" Leafeon cried, attempting bravery. "Um....what was he on about?"

 "He was....his goal..." a whisper rose from Deoxys. Charizard gave a happy gasp and helped the mysterious Pokemon up. Suicune looked around the area.

"He did a lot of damage..." he muttered.

"That is...nothing compared to...what Rayquaza will do if we do not stop him." Deoxys managed to say. He still wore his long cloak and it blew out behind him in the breeze.

 "What will he do, then?" Leafeon asked. "What was that Justice thingy he kept yelling about?"

"The Justice is said to be...the most destructive weapon ever created. It is hidden in a secret place...that Rayquaza has found." Deoxys said. "If Rayquaza manages to free the justice from it's hding place, then...the world will be destroyed in one swift blow."

"Oh my!" gasped Charizard. Deoxys turned to her.

"That is why I have been searching for you." Deoxys explained. "Your legendary reputation as an Exploration Team has spread far and wide. I figured that if anyone could help me...then it was you."

"We have sworn to protect the Earth." Suicune said. "We will do anything to defend it."

"So yes, we will help you." Leafeon put in. Deoxys looked upon them all and Charizard thought that if he could smile then he would.

"I can never show enough gratitude to you." he said. "We must hurry. I know of some Pokemon who can help us...they live in the forest nearby."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Leafeon said, grinning. "Let's go!"
