The briny Sea calls
Out to me, and whispers my name in
The darkened Tide, while
Twining, the Sea binds me
With my own heart-- bound
By souls.
My soul,
Calling to the
Current as it drowns in a Brook
O misery, only cured
By the salt of the Coast.

A wisp of laughter
Bubbles up from the Horse's mouth,
And I join in, bringing a musical melody
Cleansing the body
Cleansing the soul with
The pure, simple beauty of Humor and Joy.
Humor and Joy-- a better mix
Than Saturday and Sunday,
Than chocolate and peanut butter
Than Whitney and Allen.
Joy is a funny thing:
It's always there when you need it...
Except when it isn't.
And it comes in varying degrees of hilarity.
Just like people.

Deathbed

The crow cries out and taunts me as it
Flies
So far above, lending only itself
Wings, not caring other than the
Carrion carcas-ses that it stuffs it's greedy
Face in, as I lay dying in this
Cold bit of misery,
Lying in my Deathbed
on a warm, sunny day.

Don't like me,
And we'll work just fine.
What did I say, freak?
Rule number 1.
Always listen to me.
But don't do what I say if you know what's good for you.

Hanging upon a thread
Up on your ceiling walls,
I gaze down 'pon your face
And your midnight squalls.
Oh, your downy hair I long to stroke,
But 'las, I have no hands.
I the moon softly
Luminesce upon you as you
Get undressed, go to sleep
My little child,
Turn out unto a place that's wild,
But remember, remember,
My sweet pea,
When you're done,
Return to me,
For though in day I do not glow,
I love you, child,
I let you go.
