Living, Breathing, Howling

A gray blur weaved between the trees. Rohan ran as fast as he could, pushing himself harder whenever he slowed ever so slightly. He had to get to the pack before the hunters. He had to reach them first. His feet felt as if he was flying. Ordinarily, Rohan would try and savor the moment of running so freely, but there was no time. The pack was in trouble. His pack. The hunters were coming! Fear matted his pelt. His eyes were wide with fear and pain as he ran. His breath came in long gasps as he ran. He had ran all the way from Horum, the hunter's land.Suddenly, the smell of his pack's border's hit him like a thunderbolt. Strong and fresh, threatening any intruder to enter if they dared to brave the wrath of their alpha leaders. Rohan ignored the scent as best as he could as he bolted across the border and towards the smell of home. Suddenly, he came upon them. His family. He slowed to a stop and his knees gave out. He fell down the hill and into the village area. He changed into his human form, gasping the alpha leader's name out. Kimbra, a shy girl with a temper, ran over to him. "Rohan! Are you alright! Breath Rohan, easy. Everything is fine."Nothings fine! He wanted to scream. "Thorin and Satori.... Pack in trouble.... get them...." He gasped out, trying to catch his breath. Kimbra could probably smell the fear on his skin. She nodded her head and ran towards the alpha's house. She came back a few seconds later with a tall and strong looking man who had long brown hair and a scar on his left cheek. His piercing blue eyes stared at Rohan, concern in his eyes. A woman trailed behind him. She had silvery white hair that was short and only went to her neck. Her eyes were an icy blue. She gently walked over to Rohan and placed her hand on his shoulder. Every inch of his body screamed at him in pain. "Rohan." The woman said in a voice that reminded you of rain. "What's wrong?" The man walked forward as well and crouched down so that he was level with Rohan. "Is something waiting at the borders?" He asked, his voice tight with concern. "The.... The hunters.... the hunters are coming!" he gasped. "And.... and Jason..... he's getting ready to.... join us..." Rohan could say no more. He slumped against the alpha female, breathing hard, his eyes closed.
Thorin glanced sharply at Kimbra. "Take him to Twilight. She'll patch him up." Thorin said, turning back to look at his mate. Kimbra nodded and she hefted one of Rohan's arms around her shoulders and she dragged him to the Pack's Medicine hut. Thorin stood up. " I'm going to call three of my men and we are going on a quick patrol. I will be back before dusk. I'm also going to send Jason's uncle to go get him. He should be changing soon." He said, staring ever so slightly at Satori. "I'm worried about Jason. He doesn't know what he is yet and that his parents were murdered." Thorin growled. "That idiot wouldn't tell him the truth." Satori moved to Thorin's side. " Peace Thorin. He will be fine. He is not the only one who should be changing soon." She said, trying to comfort him. Thorin sighed and nodded his head. He lifted his chin and closed his eyes. Slowly, he let loose a wolf howl that sounded awfully real. Three men came as silent as ghost running up to him. "You called us?" One of them asked. "Yes.  Remus, Saber, Ranger. I need you guys to come with me and patrol the border. Saber nodded his head. Remus just blinked his eyes in a silent yes. Ranger grinned slightly, revealing his white teeth. Thorin growled slightly. " AARON!" He cried. A tall and skinny man with short spiked hair the color of wet bark came bounding towards him. "I was called?" He said with an apologetic grin. Thorin nearly lost his temper. "I need you to go and get your nephew." He growled. Aaron smiled silently.Aaron nodded his head and ran west, towards the human village. He smiled softly at Satori before he was out of sight
Kimbra came back at that moment. "Rohan is well and resting. But Twilight wants Rohan to stay with her for the night. He was starting to heat up and she thinks a fever will overcome him tonight." She said in a soft voice that reminded you of falling leaves. Thorin just nodded his head in a silent acknowledgement. "I will be back soon. take care of the pack Satori." he said, glancing strongly at his mate. Satori nodded her head, a small smile on her face. With that, Thorin, Ranger, Remus, and Saber were of bounding towards the border, their forms blurring into the shapes of wolves. Kimbra sighed sadly. "What's wrong Kimbra?"Satori asked, walking over to her silently. "I am worried about Rohan. Twilight had to lend him almost all of her power before he would breath evenly and even that didn't stop the fever coming on! I guess I just want him to get better." She said sadly. Satori smiled silently and she let some of her power reach out and comfort Kimbra. "All will be well soon my dear child." She said comfortingly. Kimbra just nodded silently and she ran back towards the juveniles hut, the tendril of power snapping as soon as she came out of range. .
Satori looked to the sky. "Keep them safe." She whispered, her voice carrying throughout the village on the breeze.

Jason walked towards the school entrance, clutching his backpack. Suddenly, something strong yanked him back several feet and the school bully, Sean, blocked his path. "Where you going dweeb?" He asked, his voice filled with malice and amusement. Jason looked at the ground. He felt something hard slam into him. "Well, where are you going?" He didn't answer. Something hard pushed him again. "I asked you a question!" Sean growled, pushing him back a few feet into the empty field. "Stop..." Jason whispered. He felt himself roughly pushed again. "Please stop." He muttered. Sean just chuckled and pushed him harder. "I said stop!" Jason yelled. He dropped his book bag and let his fist fly. Anger tinted his vision red as he landed his fist neatly in the folds of Sean's face. Jason stumbled backwards a few steps and stared at Sean. He was lying on the ground, his hand covering his face. Blood seeped through his fingers. The coppery sweet smell of blood made Jason lick his lips. It took him a few seconds to realize that his hand was burning. He had not only broken Sean's nose, but he had sprained his knuckles too. He groaned inwardly. Suddenly, a loud and obnoxious voice was heard behind Jason. "Sean! Jason! What are you two-" The voice was cut short as the teacher came closer and saw Sean flat on his butt, his hand covering his nose, blood dripping steadily into the gr*censored*. "What happened here!?" Ms. Copper, the teacher, cried angrily. Jason drew himself up slightly. "I guess I punched Sean." he said, his voice holding no emotion except for an edge of pride. Ms. Copper glared a him. "Are you trying to be funny Jason because if you are..." She let the threat em
bed itself into Jason's mind. "No! I mean, I don't even know why I hit him! I don't even remember it!" He cried truthfully. The only thing that held reminders that he had just punched the meanest kid in the school was his burning fist and Sean bleeding on the ground. Ms. Copper glared at her for a few more seconds before turning to Sean, a nasty look on her face. "You! Hustle your lazy lard butt up to the nurse." She said in a irritating voice. As Sean shuffled away, Ms. Copper turned back to Jason and grabbed his fist. Jason drew a sharp intake of breath. She smiled smugly. "And you. Go to the office and let principal Carter talk to you. Then head down to the nurse as well." With that, she dropped his hand and she followed after Sean.

Jason walked through the cafeteria doors only to take two steps back. The strong and sickly smell of sweat, something rotten, and a hint of blood made him gag. He retreated to the shelter of the stairs leading to the upper floor and sat there, eating his apple slowly. Suddenly, he had the strong urge to run. To run 50 or more miles. The urge scared him and pitched his lunch, his appetite suddenly lost.

~
He walked on the sidewalk, his book bag forgotten at school. Hey, nobody was perfect. The moon gently slid out from behind a dark cloud and it blinked at him. Jason froze, his body giving off a faint hum. The urge to run was so great suddenly, that he couldn't hold it back. He started to run, his arms pumping and his legs moving. He was a terrible runner, but today felt different. He hadn't tripped once yet and he wasn't slowing down. Instead, he was speeding up! He ran faster and faster until he was just a blur on the sidewalk. He laughed out loud. He felt so free! Suddenly, the sidewalk ended and opened up into the woods. Jason slowed to a stop and stared into the woods. He had thought them boring and no fun. Now, he just wanted to walk through the tall trees. He smiled at the thought of the gentle breeze tugging at his hair and the night animals waking up. Jason shook his head to clear his thoughts. That's when he saw the man. He was standing just inches from the tree line and he was staring straight at him. Suddenly, Jason wanted to run to him. To rub in his scent. The man took a step towards him. Jason took a step back. Suddenly, Jason bolted. The man followed him, going at the same speed. How was he keeping up? Jason wondered. Suddenly, the man started on gain on him. Jason started to sweat. His legs began to feel like lead and his eyes drooped. He had gone from perfectly healthy to sicker than a dog. He slowed to a stop and collapsed onto his knees. The man rushed up to him. The sweet smell of trees, honey, and home washed over Jason. His eyesight dimmed. "Jason! Hang on.........." The voice faded until everything went black.

Nice ti
tle ;o

Start a new line with a new speaker plz o3o

Where it said 'fear matted his pelt. His eyes were wide with fear and pain' I suggest changing one of the 'fear's to a different word.

Otherwise, it sounds action-packed ;o while I'm confused as to what is happening I s'pose that's mainly because of the speech at the moment.

Thanks Raru. At the time, it was still an RP plot, but now I'm considering making it a story.
