"Everyone has a digimon these days..." Becky muttered as she walked along the forest path. "My cousin has a Veemon, my brother has an Agumon, my little sister has a Kapurimon, even my MOTHER has a digimon. Her Birdramon is so awesome...why haven't I found my digimon partner yet?" She sighed. It was true; everyone she knew had a digimon partner except for her. Oh well, Becky thought, I have other ways to have fun.

Shortly, Becky was sitting on the ledge of a slope overlooking a quarry. In her hand was a good book and Becky was reading it intently. Alright, maybe other people wouldn't callreading fun, but Becky tended to ignore those people entirely.Suddenly, Becky found herself looking down into the quarry at a pile of rubble nearby. She could have sworn that she saw one of the rocks roll down the pile without anyone pushing it. But that was when she noticed a hand sticking out from under the pile...

"Oh my gosh!" Becky cried. "Someone's trapped under those rocks!" Without hesitation, Becky put her book in her pocket, stood up and began hastily making her way down the rocky hill. At the bottom, she rushed to the pile of rocks. She moved some of the rocks off the top. But then there was a flare of bright light and soon Becky found herself propelled backwards by some great force, along with the rest of the rocks. When she stood up again, she wiped the dust from herself and looked over to where the rock pile had been. A tall figure was shakily standing up. They seemed to be incredibly tall for a person, and were wearing a bizarre blue hat and coat. They also carried a cane. Becky hurried over to them.

"Sir, are you alright?" she asked. The person glanced down at her. Becky stifled a gasp; the person appeared to only have one yellow eye, and their skin was grey. On top of that, they appeared to have no nose or ears.Becky shivered.

"I'm alright." the stranger said. "Thanks. You are...?"

"I'm Becky." Becky said, extending a hand. "WHo are you, sir?" The newcomer seemed to stifle a laugh.

"Don't call me sir." he said. "I'm Mummymon. Pleased to meet you." He shook Becky's hand. Becky couldn't say anything through the shock. This man was...a DIGIMON?! Mummymon seemed to realise what Becky was thinking, and laughed.

"Oh, you thought I was a human?" he asked. "Don't worry, most people do. I stay in this form most of the time, I only reveal my true form before battle."

"Before...battle?" Becky asked, confused.

"You mean...you've never been in a digimon battle before?" Mummymon questioned her, seemingly surprised.  "Don't you have a digimon partner?"

"No, but everyone else does." Becky replied, sadly. "I wish I had one, though." Mummymon seemed to consider this statement.

"Hmm...well, it was nice to meet you." he said. He turned, waving a hand. "And trust me, I don't say that to a lot of people. Bye!" And before Becky could say anything more, he was gone. She stared after him.

"Mummymon, huh?" she muttered. "He seemed a nice enough digimon."

Later, Becky was once again sitting down and reading. But then she heard a sharp noise behind her. Turning around, her blood  turned cold and fear froze her to the spot. For standing right before her was a menacing looking digimon. It bore resemblence to a bright red tyrannosaurus rex. Becky realised that this was a Tyrannomon. And by the looks of things, this Tyrannomon didn't look too happy.

"Oh gosh..." Becky whispered. The Tyrannomon let out a terrifying roar.

"Blaze Blast!" it cried, before breathing out intense flames that headed straight towards Becky. She cried out and closed her eyes, bracing herself for the blow.

The attack never hit her. Opening her eyes, Becky saw... that Mummymon from before was there, and had delfected the blast. That was when Becky became aware of a glow inside her pocket. Reaching into it, she pulled out a small metallic divice. Becky recognised it immediately as a Digivice. Which meant...

"Mummymon, you're my digimon partner?" she asked, stunned. But then she noticed that Mummymon's features were bolurring and changing. Before long, Mummymon had revealed his true form. Indeed, he did bear a strong resemblance to Mummys from the movies that Becky had seen, only this one was a lot more awesome. On top of that, Mummymon weilded a huge rifle.

"Yes." he said over his shoulder. Then he shot a huge laser blast from his rifle and Tyrannomon was hit hard. Becky watched as the massive dinosaurian digimon ran away. Mummymon turned to her.

"He's a real wimp, you know." he commented. "Tyrannomon is only a champion level digimon, but as for me...I'm ultimate level. He never stood a chance. Anyway, are you ok?" Becky was about to reply when she felt something...the rock crumbling beneath her feet. Becky didn't even have time to scream before she fell. This part of the slope was more like a cliff, and beneath her was a pile of sharp-looking rocks. Becky was sure she'd die.

"Snake Bandage!" Mummymon cried from above her. And before she knew it, Becky found that some kind of bandage had wrapped around her wristand she was being pulled up to safety. When her feet were firmly on the ground once more, Becky breathed a shaky sigh.

"Thanks...again." she added. Mummymon grinned before reverting back to his human form.

"Are you one of those people who i attracted to danger on a regular basis?" he asked. Becky laughed.

"I guess I am." she replied.

"Good." Mummymon said. "Otherwise it would be boring. What do you wanna do now?" Becky shrugged.

"I haven't the faintest idea." she said.

"Ever tried rock surfing?" Mummymon asked, abrubtly.

"Huh? No." Becky said. Mummymon girnned again.

"Well, it's a bit like sledding, except without the snow...or the sledge..." he said.

Minutes later, Becky gave a laugh of happiness. She, along with Mummymon, was surfing down the hillside on a giant rock that Mummymon had found. Of course, this was probably going to end up pretty badly, but Becky didn't care. She was having the most fun she'd had in years. And finally,,Becky had found her awesome digimon partner; Mummymon, an ultimate level digimon. Becky had a feeling that she'd have a lot of new adventures.

Who says you need to be alive to have fun?

Um, that's it...there might be some more parts to it. The last line is a reference to how Mummymon is technically dead (cos he's a Mummy...you know...). xD
