Fallen Apart

Masa’s the name. Actually, it’s Masakii Jones, but I only go by Masa. Before you start reading. I’ll inform you that I’m a supernatural. A werewolf. I’m not like those Twilight werewolves or Lycans. Lycans, in case you didn’t know, are hairy beasts that stand on two legs. They also look ugly. I just shape shift into a wolf. It’s nothing that difficult.
There are also vampires in this story called my life. Especially Geo. You’ll hear about him a lot. These vampires don’t sparkle and they can go out in the sun. Most of them just choose not to. In the Mortal Instruments Series, vampires, who can walk in the light, are called daywalkers. So, basically they are daywalkers.
Geo Silverwind is the love of my life. He’s hot, sweet, and he means everything to me. I can still remember the first day we met. Me, my brother, my sister, and my cousins went to the beach with Jason‘s, who’s my brother, girlfriend and Moon’s, my cousin‘s, boyfriend. Jason’s girlfriend is Midnight , who is Geo’s sister and my best friend. Rex is Moon’s boyfriend. He’s also Midnight’s cousin.
This is what happened that day:
“Masa! There he is!” Moon smiled at me. I looked over at the handsome guy sitting on the rocks.
  “That’s him?” I asked Rex.
“Yep, there’s my cousin. Handsome, isn’t he?” He asked.
“Rex, I worry about you sometimes.” I laughed.
“Ha ha, Masa.” Rex laughed. Midnight and him push me towards him. I stubble right next to him.
  “Hello?” He asked.
“Um, hi. I’m Masa, Midnight’s best friend and Moon’s cousin.” I said, being nervous.
He laughed. “I’m Geo. Of course, you probably know that,” He smiled. “Is Masa a nickname?”
“Yeah. I’m guessing Geo is also.”
“Yep. What’s your actual first name?”
  “Masakii. It’s Japanese. What’s yours?”
  “Geoffrey.”
  “Very original.”
He laughed. “Your name is really pretty. Let me guess, your last name is Jones. No one has told me your name, so I’m going off on a limb here.”
I smile. “Yes. It is Jones. Masa Jones.”
“I am awesome. You just seem like a girl with the last name being Jones….. Now I just made this awkward.” He laughed. I laughed along with him. He is so cute.
“Masa! Geo! Come into the water!” Akila, my cousin, yelled.
“I’m going in.” We say in unison. We start laughing again as we walk to where our things are. He took off his shirt, showing muscle and abs. Then I took off my shirt I had on, covering my bathing suit top. He looked at me, smiling. I giggled and took my shorts off.
“Hey sexy lady!” Some random guys yelled at me. I started blushing.
“I’m too young for you. Pedophiles.” I told them. Geo started laughing. “Hey, I saw you staring too.” I said to him.
“You were staring at me first.” He smiled.
“Because you’re hot.” I said, heading towards the water.
  “I’m hot?” He asked me.
“Duh. I didn’t just say that for nothing. I don’t lie. I’m just really blunt.” I jumped into the water and he followed me.
“So, you really think I’m hot?” He asked me.
“Yeah! Do you think I’m hot?” I asked back.
  “Yeah. Really hot.”
  I laughed.

Later on that day, we went to my house. My mom was home and was happy to meet Geo.
“I’m Geoffrey Silverwind. I prefer to be called Geo.” He smiled at my mom. A pang of jealousy or something similar ran through me. Could I be jealous? He never smiled at me. Maybe laughed, but…… I don’t know.
“Pleasure to meet you, Geo. I’m Mayanna Korasake-Johnson.” My mom said.
“That’s a beautiful name. Same as Masa’s. If your last name is Korasake-Johnson, how come Masa’s last name is Jones?”
My mom stopped in her tracks, so I took over for her. “I have a different dad. My mom dated him for three years and he left a year after they had me. My mom gave me his last name. He died last year same with Sammi and Jason’s dad. They were in a car together and died. That’s why I have a different last name. I’m gonna eat in my room.” I say, on the verge of tears. I grab a bowl of noodles and some orange chicken. I walked to the hallway. I stopped right in front of my door. All these memories hit me. Good and bad. I walked into my room and threw my food in the trash can that was in my room. I got on my computer and listened to music. It seems like music’s the only thing that calms me down.
I grabbed a pillow from my bed and sat in the chair that’s at my desk. I played This Is How A Heart Breaks by Rob Thomas. It’s one of my favorite songs ever. When the song ended, I played Shattered by O.A.R.
“How many times can I break till I shatter?” I ask myself. Yeah. Deep. Thanks O.A.R for making my life story into a song. It’s beautiful. See, me and my dad weren’t really close. Well, I guess you can say that. We hung out one week every month. It was really fun. I got to meet my new half brother, Blake. It was fun, you know.
Next song. Can’t Help But Wait by Trey Songz. Gah! It’s so crazy how life works! When I thought it couldn’t get any better, I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened my oak door. It was Geo.
  “Hey.” He said.
”What do you want?” I asked him, going back to my chair. Better Than Drugs by Skillet came on next.
“Good song,” He smiled. “Are you okay?”
  I shrugged. “I never know.”
He sat on my bed and looked at me. “Were you and your dad close?”
“Not really. I mean, we hung out one week out of every month. But that’s it.”
“How did you deal with it?”
“I don’t know. I stayed in my room for months until my best friends made me hang out with them. Kaden made me get out. He came in one day and dragged me out of my room. I remember exactly what he said to me.”
“Did you ever talk to anyone else?”
“Not really. I barely talked to my friends. My mom shut me out so I shut her out. I shut Jason and Sami out to. And my cousins. Then when Jason met Midnight and he was so happy, I realized there are great things in life. Sami has yet to figure that out to.”
He sat there, looking at my wall. Pictures of my family and I were on my walls. And there are some sayings to. Geo smiled at one saying.
  “What?” I asked him.
“I was just thinking,” He started saying, ”about life. Just like that saying up there. Live life to the fullest and never say never.”
  “Story of my life.”
  He laughed. “True story.”
“Yeah. Hey, what are you doing tomorrow?”
  “I’ll have to see. Why?”
“Tomorrow’s my seventeenth birthday. We’re having a small celebration.”
“Hmmm. I’ll have to check my schedule.” He smiled.
“Playing the cool guy status,” I laughed “Nicely played. It starts at five in the evening. It’s at the tree in the field. I’ll show you something that’s close to me. My dad built it.”
  “What would that be?”
“You’ll see if you can make it. Oh, you can come with Mid. She’s coming early to help set up.”
“I’ll be sure to come,” He smiled. “You know, I’m not leaving just yet.”
  “Really?”
  “Yeah.”
“Good,” I said, putting my shoes and jacket on. “Come with me. I’ll show it to you earlier than I planned.”
“Okay,” He paused. “We’re going where?”
“To the field,” I opened the door. “Let’s go.”
We walked out to my mom’s store. “Mom, we’re going to the field.”
She nodded and told us to have fun and to be careful. I led Geo to the shop. “Do you know how to drive an ATV?” I asked him. He pitifully shook his head. “Ugh, okay,” I got onto my ATV and he got on behind me. “Hold on.”
I revved the four-wheeler up and drove to the tree in the middle of the field. When I say field, I mean a green grassy field. I don’t mean tall grass, I mean real grass.
I turned the ATV off and Geo hopped off. I hopped off after him. I looked at the very, very, very large tree. I walked over to it and smiled. There was a small door knob and a fairly tall door. I turned the knob and opened the door.
  “Whoa.” Geo said.
The tree is like a house. I’m planning on living here after I turn eighteen. I know it sounds weird, but just listen to the deion of this place.
It has a huge living room and kitchen. My dad made this place himself using tons of trees and putting them together. How he did it, I’ll never know. He even made these stairs and a bedroom upstairs.
Geo went throughout the whole place as I sat and remembered all the memories this tree has brought to me. All the joy. All the pain. An all the wonders. Maybe it’ll be a historical landmark one of these days.
Geo came back downstairs. “This place is so cool.”
“My dad built all of this. Except for the chairs and stuff like that. This used to my little hang out. Jason and Sami were never allowed in here. It also has electricity and water.” I smiled.
  “This is awesome.”
“Yeah. My dad loved me. Well, I live on that concept. He called me every day when I was getting older. I was about five when he first called me. I was so happy. I remember that like it was yesterday.”
“My parents died when Midnight was only five. My birthday was the next day, I was turning nine. Rex had just turned seven. I had never seen my Aunt Annalie cry so much in my entire life. She died last year of Breast Cancer.”
“Wow, when my dad died, I made really bad decisions. The worst one was losing my virginity to a douche bag. I dated him for about three years and after he took my virginity, he dumped me.” I started crying. See? I’m falling apart. Soon, I won’t be in this horrible world anymore. Maybe no one will miss me. I can only hope that they won’t.

I’m falling inside the black, can I ever come back?
