Well, after much encouragment from my wonderful buddeh Pippit, I have finally built up the courage to show my attempt at story writing to the world!  Yay me!

a little note before you start reading.  I am still kind of young so don't expect my writing skills to be absolutely perfect.  This is basicly a rough draft.  That means there will be errors and it isn't as perfect as it could be.  Well now that I have lectured upon you, I shall allow you to read.

Chapter one.  Exile.

" Tell the truth you filthy scum!  You tried to kill me! " An ancient golden dragon roared this at a much smaller female who was the color of amethyst gem stones.

The young female quivered in fear replying in a shaky voice " I told you, I have no idea what you're talking about. " She immediatly received yet another harsh clawing from a tree toed male with green scales.  He was supposed to convince her to confess and this was how he did it.  She let out a cry of pain, tears coming from her azure eyes and dripping onto the ground along with the red sticky liquid that now came out of her face, turning her purple scales to a color between red and purple but a bit more on the red side.

" You lie!  Everyone here knows that you tried to murder me!  Admit it already! " The golden dragon roared, his long tail thrashing back and forth, letting the razor sharp spade on the end nearly slice the bystander's heads off.  Most of the dragons watching ducked when the tail p*censored*ed over them.

The purple female sobbed, tears mixing with her own blood.  She had done no such thing!  Where had the king gotten this horrible idea?  All she had done was bring her weekly offerings of stags and one of those rare sword fish she had caught.  Somehow, her bringing the weekly offering of food she was required to give to the king lead up to this horrible moment in her life, where she was being beaten and acused of something she hadn't done.

" Answer! " The golden dragon yelled at her, his emerald eyes narrowing with fury as he became more and more enraged about something that had never happened, an attempted murder.

The purple dragon only continued to cry, unable to say anything.  Her jaw was bleeding in great amount and tghe problem was only made worse as those same bloody claws were brought down on her face yet again.  The blow hit her hard in the forehead.  The next thing she knew was all the feelings of misery and pain ended in a flash of red and white and then, blackness.

Feel free to critique.

I liked it, but you might want to elaborate on why she was the one accused.  ;o

Problem is, there weren't really many details on it to put.  And she wasn't the only one accused which is something you find out later.  The point that the first section was trying to get across is that the  king is just a little bit crazy or something of the sort.

Finally!  I got chapter two up here!  Well, you can thank procrastination for the late release of this one.  Please read completely before commenting.

Chapter two.  The Deadlands.

Zynonia opened one of her eyes with some effort, finding pretty much everything hard to do.  She discovered she had been moved to the Deadlands while unconsious and that her right eye had been hurt when she was out.  It was swollen shut at the moment.

She took some time to take in her surroundings a little bit.  The land around her was blackened with ash and had a m*censored*ive volacanoe in the distance with streams of red-orange lava flowing down it.  It was the biggest thing out here and the only thing that stood out in this harsh environment.  There was one other feature though.  It wasn't quite as obvious, but the Deadlands were known for having no surface water of any kind.  Any water spilled out in the Deadlands evaporated quickly or was soaked up by the parched ground.

Zynonia lay where she was for several more minutes, trying to regain feeling in her legs.  Eventually, she managed to shove herself up into a standing position, her still somewhat bleeding head hung low.  She felt much worse now than she had during her trial.  She must have gotten one las beating from the green male after falling unconsious.  She should have expected such a thing from one as aggressive as hi.  He didn't care how much it hurt her, as long as he had fun doing it.

She groaned, feeling immense pain everywhere.  Turning her head slightly, she could see the now horible condition her wings were in.  The fingers were brused badly and several were probably broken.  The one tough and stretchy leathery skin that streched between those fingers was in worse contdition.  They were pretty much gone with shreded ends left at the place where the skin met the fingers.  It was quite obvious the king did not want her flying back to his land anytime soon.

She stood there for several moments, waiting for a sudden light headedness to fade and her leg to become steadier, before she lifted her head up higher and searched for any sign of water or civilization.  There was absolutely nothing.  Just the same charred black landscape with streams of lave flowing here and there.  It appeared that she had been placed quite far into the Deadlands.  She was actually surpried the king would send his dragons in so far just to be rid of her.  He hardly ever did something as stupid as that.....  Well, he used to rarely do these stupid things, but ever since he had been nearing his elderly days, he had been getting more and more paranoid.  That had lead to her current situation.

Zynonia decided she had better get moving.  No reason to stick around and wait for dehydration to get her.  Might as well make the best of her time and attempt ot get something done, whether it ended up to be a good or bad idea.  She hoped that she was headed in the right direction, the direction that would take her to the border of the Deadlands and to a nice source of water.

I have a feeling that the next chapter will be up soon, so keep a close eye on this page!  The next one will also end up being much longer.  I know these first two are very short, but really, they were just sort of filler chapters to give you info on what's going on and that sort of stuff....so yeah. O3o
